Location near the confluence and close to downtown. Close to shopping and amenities.
Hotel seems to be in the middle of your drug problem culture with open drug use, paramedics rescuing people who have had overdoses and all that goes with it. It is unfortunate because the hotel is so close to the Confluence. $300 per night is a little pricey for the neighbourhood.

Room was comfortable, modern, and clean. It was also quiet and private with blinds and curtains. The pool was a nice to have and the location of the hotel was in a great downtown position if you wanted to explore the city. The restaurant was of good quality and the breakfast was also very tasty.
The pool was a little small and when we went to enjoy it, there was a private swimming lesson starting in 15-20mins. We managed to enjoy it for a little while but we didn't want to disturb the lesson so left shortly before. The car park requires you to text a number via Whatsapp to open the secure shutter and for some reason it wouldn't open for us so we had a bit of trouble entering.

The wifi dropping out occasionally.
The rooms and beds are comfortable, but we didn't try the food. They didn't have much complimentary food or water. It is located downtown, so It is convenient to access everywhere, and there is a big supermarket across the street.
The location seems to be in a sketchy area; there were lots of junkies hanging around, and I didn't feel safe walking around the hotel.
Room was very clean and comfortable! Great night's sleep.
There were no towels supplied at the pool.
Front desk/check in did not seem very efficient.
