White River II Hostel

All Ok.

Room very shabby and dirty with cobwebs, peeling paint, broken towel rail and leaky shower. No control over AC which was too cold when on, and temperature soon became too hot when off. No kettle, lighting poor. Very noisy location at busy street intersection and loud disco music nearby until 1.00am.

Good location and near good bars and cafes

Had booked for 30 days but left after 2 ... it's cheap but should not be on here . Absolute dump .

Already paid credit card online and came to check in but room filled

Let us check in at 8am after bus was early and we arrived at 6am which was really nice, also let us crash on the couch for the 2 hours before the room was available! Rooms are pretty basic and a bit shabby but air con is good. Cleanliness of the bathroom was pretty poor but not the worst I’ve seen.

The hotel is in bad shape. The stair ways is dirty. The room is in bad shape even with a fresh coat of paint. The reception asking me to pay when I check in and check out of the hotel which I have paid via Expedia which Expedia need to take note of. In addition, my stay suffered close to 1 hour of electricity outage. There is not cloth hanger in the bath room.

It is what it is. Cheap accomodation in the heart of town.

Toilette Brocken/no flush,Seat Brocken. Remote for TV: not Working. B,,ed collapsed.wardrobe: no coathangers,both side doors Hang in only 1joint.no table, no way to charge phone/1 set oft plugs didnt work at all, the other could only be used... OK, i am dick and tired oft complaining. Hot Water ok. Aircon ok, location ok if you like loud traffic junction and nightlife.wohnt. tell you about some staff and costumers.

Just as the other reviews state, you get what you paid for. 1lightbulb in the room was working, no remote for the TV. Beds are comfortable.

The accommodation was quite basic, however we were in the city for a short time so only needed a place to sleep as otherwise were out and about visiting sites. Good location for wandering the streets and bars/ food etc.

Great little guesthouse which is ideally situated to the main sites. For us it was the staff that made the stay brilliant; we arrived at 10am and they sat us down with a drink whilst they hurried to get our room ready early for us which was super sweet! The food is very reasonably priced but sometimes you do have to wait a while for it which we didn't mind. The room itself was clean and smelt clean with great a/c and free toiletries. Bathroom is super small but had warm electric shower with enough pressure to wash my long hair lol! The one thing that can be improved is the door which locked fine but I felt like if you gave it a good shove you'd be able to push it open but they have installed a good cctv system and the guys are stringent on who walks through. We enjoyed playing pool on the free pool table and talking to the guys who work there. Overall we would recommended and if we go back we will definitely choose here for a stay in PP.

The food in. bar below was good and fair priced
Would stay here again, next time.

Its Old very .yet fairly new toilet flat screen ) Its central and cheap !!! . staff are casual .nothing fancy here . acceptable as they go .

Pretty dirty room. Wifi didn't work unless you were down stairs. Had to hold the shower head to have a shower.

Unless cost is your only consideration, don't stay here. No soundproofing at all and noise is pretty constant. Bedding and towels were full of tears/holes. Nor sure what the place used to be, but it still doesn't appear to be a completed guest house!

It was not good at all. Very dearty.

For the price, what can you expect? A place to crash for cheap.
