Hotel Pueblo Dorado

They couldn't find the reservation and the payment. I had to wait a while for them to find it.

Value for money and friendly staff with a great breakfast included. Stayed here 2 nights and were pleased to be greeted by Mary and William who were always friendly and helpful. Although the rooms is small, it it clean with ample hot water and cooling AC for us to sleep on the comfy bed. Pool side chairs with beach towels a plus’s. Considering the included breakfast served at Witches Rock across the street which filled us for the day we consider this great value.

The hotel is conveniently located across the road from the beach and close to the main strip. The rooms are very small but comfortable. The breakfast (included) is very good and is at the beach cafe across the street. Overall a great stay.

Close to Tamarindo town

Tuvimos una muy mala experiencia con la reservacion en Hotel Pueblo Dorado en Tamarindo, Costa Rica, al llegar el día domingo 13 de Setiembre nos dijeron que Expedia no le había avisado al hotel de nuestra reservacion y que no había espacio, tuvimos q buscar otro lugar. Y hoy nos llega la notificación de cobro a nuestra tarjeta de crédito como si realmente nos hubiéramos hospedado en el lugar... Les solicito su ayuda para el reintegro de nuestro dinero.

Amazing service with conplementary breakfast. I did not like the breakfast so much but the location was perfect and the hotel itself is perfect for a vacation.

Hotel was out of town. Small room but nice. Staff was friendly. Pool was always clean. Common area for fixing your own food was clean. Beach close -walk able. Breakfast was included in price.We walked mostly

Pleasant hotel..near but not in the more noisy part of Tamarindo. Restaurants,stores,beaches near

No soap, too noisy, pillows were garbage, no facecloths, nothing to put clothes away. You have to walk a mile to get free breakfast.pool was dirty.noth

Don’t get a conjoined room and your stay will be perfect. The staff was great and really friendly. Aside from hearing literally every sound made by my relatively quite neighbors (i do mean every noise) it was a great stay. Free breakfast at witches rock was a nice way to start each day.

Made reservation for 2 rooms but management said they only received money for one. You billed me for 2 rooms, so I paid twice for one of the rooms and had to wait a long time to get in

Short walking distance to the beach. Grounds and rooms were clean and nicely kept. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

Not bad for a budget hotel for 1 night

This is not a 5 star hotel, but it is clean and the staff is marvelous. When we are there it is to spend days at the beach and to explore Costa Rica. We are only in our room to sleep.

We absolutely loved Pueblo Dorado! It's a cozy and clean hotel away from the downtown area. The staff is so sweet, and there is a community kitchen area which comes in handy for "picnicking" at the hotel. An amazing breakfast is included at Witch's Rock each day. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the noise, and it's a short walk to good surf and the grocery store. The only drawback is you have to cross a busy road to get to the beach.
