very comfortable, relaxing place to stay. Helpful friendly staff.
Pros:

Historical Boutique Hotel. Very welcoming friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable and spacious room in keeping with the history of the building. Quiet area.
Swimming pool was lovely. Tea and coffee available at anytime. minibar stocked. safe in room. no breakfast available. Priari at reception advised us to options for breakfast and dinner all within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Both were exceptional.
thank you to all at Jawi Peranakan Mansion and we will definitely stay again.

Pros:

Hele fijne kamer, van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, altijd bereid je te helpen.

Cons:

Onze badkamer had een verstopt putje, leek alsof deze nog niet goed schoongemaakt was voor onze komst. Bij vermelden werd dit direct opgelost.

It was the perfect relaxing trip we needed!
Pros:

The room was lovely old colonial style and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was cleaned daily which was lovely. The pool was superb for a quick dip either before of after walking around Penang.

Cons:

We had a room at the front of the hotel so the noise from the room was quite noticeable. It was fine for us but if you are a light sleeper I would recommend asking for a room at the back of the hotel.

Magnifique demeure avec des chambres spacieuses , très propres, supers lits et salle de bain très jolie en mosaïque

La beauté du lieu avec le charme de la beauté coloniale, le confort de la chambre, L piscine, la gentillesse du personnel, les petits plus tout au long du séjour ( glaces, cafés...)

Cons:

L' absence de petit déjeuner peut être un peu bruyant mais difficile de faire autrement dans une rue passante et un chouette emplacement

Dirty!!!!! We spent 1 night. But we were counting minutes to escape from there
Pros:

The building and location is nice, but it was very dirty inside.

Cons:

It was dirty, plenty of dust everywhere, sheets were super old. The same comments to the entire facility.

We had a lovely stay in a wonderful heritage building. We would highly recommend the hotel to others
Pros:

The staff are lovely and helpful. The building is beautiful and very peaceful but next to a road going into the centre ... easy to walk from it with plenty of eateries nearby.
