This is a nice small quiet resort, the location is odd and the enterance is very easy to miss. it is set back far enough from the main road, so they rooms are very quite and secluded. The staff are all extremley helpful. Rooms are well kept and very clean. Signiture SPa treatment was fairly good.

I’ve stayed at over 30 world-renowned hotel brands through Hotels.com, but this one was by far the best. When I told them I had to leave at dawn and would miss breakfast, they actually prepared a packed meal for me to take. This kind of kindness is something you’d expect only from family—yet they extended it to a random foreigner like me!

The facilities, food quality, and overall standard were simply exceptional. As a Korean, I can confidently say that to experience this level of quality back home, you’d easily have to pay at least ten times more. And if you look at the other reviews, they’re all full of praise—because this place truly deserves it.

I could relax and enjoy the quietness here very much. The staffs are super friendly. I am also very happy with the food and drinks here. Highly recommend this place!

The staff were awesome, I was unfortunately ill for half of my trip and staff were really helpful. I got the spa suite and to have the spa treatments everyday was a nice treat! Really spacious room with a lovely balcony view. I will miss it so much. Thank you Samata team

We had a great experience at The Samata, from the moment we checked in until we checked out. Communication was clear and the staff accommodated our schedules. We had tours every day so they had our breakfast (included with our package) packed and ready to go prior to us leaving for the day. The rooms were clean, although there were occasional small bugs/lizards. Didn’t really bother us though. Our private 2br villa was spacious and we appreciated the privacy. Location wise, it was about 30-40 mins away from the airport. A little farther to Ubud, so it depends what your itinerary is. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend. Thank you The Samata for making our first time in Bali a great experience!

The Samata Lifestyle Retreat was an amazing experience, excellent value, professional friendly attentive staff, great ocean view room, quiet, clean, felt like a private romantic retreat. Great to relax and enjoying a getaway.

객실이 넓고 특히 개인 수영장이 커서 즐거운 가족 휴가를 보낼 수 있었습니다.

we stayed for 5 nights and the place is so quiet, not so many guests; in fact we were the only one in breakfast and using the pool. the service was good, however, some server did not speak English, so we had some trouble getting what we wanted at breakfast. overall, it's a good place to stay.

Land scape is beautiful, staff communication is excellent, all dishes are very good taste.
Pool is easy to access.

Very clean and comfortable.

They did not come to pick me up from the airport even though it said on the Expedia website.
There were mosquitos and I saw a lizard in my room the next day which was scary.
There’s nothing to explore around the hotel. The transport is actually 1.5 hours instead of 30 mins from the airport!!!

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Mann wacht morgens mit Blick auf die Reisfelder und Meer auf. Ein großer eigener Pool. Blick über die Reisfelder.
Toller Service.
Nach Sanur braucht man ein Taxi 10-30 Minuten, je nach Verkehr. 4-6 Euro.
Nur das Europäische Frühstück könnte besser sein. Eier zum Toast und etwas Wurst oder Käse wären schön.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unser Aufenthalt war Erholung pur, das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend, hochqualitative Einrichtung und Häuser und wunderschöne Pools mit Blick auf die Reisfelder.

We stayed in the villa. Staff was great, amenities (gym, spa etc.) were in an excellent condition. Highly recommendable!!

The hotel is nice but looks a bit worn out compared to the pictures. Since there's open spaces, be prepared to see frogs and geckos. View is nice and place is quiet which we liked. The staff and service were great. Because our flight in the morning was really early, they packed our breakfast for us.

Incredible one bedroom villa! Staff went above and beyond. The only downside is the odour that drifts over from a few km away from the recycling plant. Most eco friendly resort we stayed at in Bali. Very quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!
