Breakfast was more extensive than I’ve seen anywhere. Delicious.
Swimming pool was great. Big enough for lap swimming and relaxing.
Golf course was easy to access and very good layout and condition.
The staff were good and quite helpful with our requests. I accidentally took the wrong luggage at the ferry terminal, and one of the ladies at the front desk (tanned skin) was really helpful. She helped me call and communicate with the ferry provider and eventually helped me solve the problem. Really appreciate her help.
I also liked the spacious lobby. Other than that, there wasn't really much else that I personally liked about the hotel.
The cleanliness of the room can definitely be improved. The carpets felt quite dirty, and the roof terrace also showed quite obvious signs of wear and poor maintenance. The grass carpet looked discoloured, damp and generally didn't feel very clean. There were also some litter on the grass carpet when I first checked in.
Another major concern for me was the toilet. There was only a manual bidet washer, but the water pressure was extremely weak. It didn't really do the job properly after using the toilet. The toilet also had a stale, faint smell when we first entered the room, which made me feel that it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly.
The carpet cleaning throughout the room could also be improved.
Breakfast was another disappointment. I had to pay around $20 per person for breakfast, which I wouldn't mind if the food was good, but unfortunately the food was not up to my expectations. At that price, I expected a better standard.
Location-wise, if you're looking for a hotel where you can walk out and easily explore the surrounding area, this probably isn't the place for you. There isn't really much within walking distance, so you'll need transport to get around.
Overall, I feel the hotel's pricing and standard of cleanliness don't quite match up. I hope Radisson can improve the cleanliness and maintenance, especially considering the price point..
