Skopje Marriott Hotel

A historic city hotel with an incredible view of the Alexander the Great monument.

Located in the city center with everything within walking distance and easy to visit. It has covered parking inside the hotel.

I stayed in a suite with a bedroom and living room that was very spacious. The breakfast had a good variety of options.

It's not very luxurious, but it's the best hotel in town.

Highlights
- I have to say the offer and set up of the food and drink drinks during the happy hour in the executive lounge was one of the best I’ve seen. The presentation and variety of the food were fantastic high-quality and local specialities.
- I had an executive suite room at the eighth floor. From the balcony, the view of the millennium cross on the top of the mountain was overwhelming.
- State of the art gym with modern Technogym equipments
- Professional front desk team. OGNEN helped me to schedule a taxi in order to avoid the pretentious scammer taxis waiting outside of the hotel. He even accompanied me to the taxi after its arrival.
Improvement potential
- The breakfast buffet was great, but the Service team started to change the plates on the majority of the tables from breakfast to lunch settings at 9:15 am. This action caused a lot of noises and it was a bit annoying while several guests were still having the breakfast. As far as I know the breakfast time is till 11 am.

We stayed at this venue in December 2025. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room was good, comfortable bed, OK shower. Lounge is superb, great food, x2 red wines, x2 white wines, x2 sparkling wines, and beer. The hotels location is great for exploring the city on foot. Cab ride back to the airport at 2 am, as arranged by the front desk, was 1500 MKD. Will stay here again.

Our stay here was fantastic. The location was excellent the breakfast buffet was great. Rooms are nice and clean staff is wonderful. Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay here on next trip.

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Skopje. I think the best hotel in the city. Friendly staff, great gym, ok breakfast, expensive but not crazy prices.

Just be very careful about your room choice. There is a huge aircon plant on the roof which makes a noise constantly. Also, the lift is terribly loud. I didn’t sleep all week. I moved rooms but it was still too loud. Stay well away from the lifts and don’t book any junior suite, they are all next to the lift.

Shame really but don’t risk it! Check before you book then double check before you unpack.

This is a very comfortable hotel.The bedrooms are large,all the facilities you would expect from a 5 star hotel.Situated right in the centre.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice,though on 2 occasions they cleared my plates before I finished.
The only glitch was that there was no water for 4 hours after I arrived.The hotel sent a printed written apology and 2 pieces of chocolate which I didn't eat.Better off to do nothing.

Clean, modern furnishing, excellent location, quiet, includes a superior lounge, friendly and personable staff (thank you Kire, Phillip, Sandro, and many others), and safe.

We had a suite with a balcony. The bathroom is a quirky setup. I wish the separate sink was a closet.

All in all a superior experience. Everyone at this property went above and beyond to be helpful.

I would recommend this hotel without any reservation.

This was great option in Skopje. Centrally located on the main square and close to all the major sites. Great F&B offer at hotel both a la carte and during the conference breaks. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Very nice room. The shower is not comfortable though, the water gets out because there is no door.
Very nice spa, three different saunas, hammam and a pool. I greatly enjoyed it.

I did not want to leave ALL of the staff were incredible, everyone so nice & helpful. The hotel is old but that gave it charachter. Lots of food options for breakfast, club lounge and theres a restaurant - Locatied VERY close to everything The square is steps away with lots to see, do & eat. Room peaceful & comfey - really wanted to stay! Take a walking or day tour Musems close by- there is so much history - research taxi ahead or have hotel schedule ride from airport HAVE some $MKD (there are exchange near hotel as last resort) USE before leaving the country- hard to exchange $ later- Some take Euro or Cards (have MC or VISA versus Amex) This is the perfect hotel to see this wonderfully quirky city and the staff make it 6 STARS!!!

The hotel has a perfect location in the city center, close to the enormous statue of Alexander the Great. Our room was of good size and very clean. The breakfust buffet had many choices and the executive lounge was nice.

Good location and friendly staff. Carpeting and curtains in rooms need to be upgraded to laminate flooring and blinds.

Upon hotel look very regal on the exterior. Interior lobby, restaurant and bar has a modern look. And the hotel room I booked was very gorgeous and spacious. It had the toilet separate to the bathroom. The had complimentary water. The view from the windows was nice just wish they opened fully to have like a balcony type vibe.

The downfalls were not many vegan options for food in the restaurant. And the spa voucher I had received I couldn’t actually use for any of the treatments they had as they were fully booked.
