Skopje Marriott Hotel

We stayed at this venue in December 2025. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room was good, comfortable bed, OK shower. Lounge is superb, great food, x2 red wines, x2 white wines, x2 sparkling wines, and beer. The hotels location is great for exploring the city on foot. Cab ride back to the airport at 2 am, as arranged by the front desk, was 1500 MKD. Will stay here again.

Our stay here was fantastic. The location was excellent the breakfast buffet was great. Rooms are nice and clean staff is wonderful. Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay here on next trip.

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Skopje. I think the best hotel in the city. Friendly staff, great gym, ok breakfast, expensive but not crazy prices.

Just be very careful about your room choice. There is a huge aircon plant on the roof which makes a noise constantly. Also, the lift is terribly loud. I didn’t sleep all week. I moved rooms but it was still too loud. Stay well away from the lifts and don’t book any junior suite, they are all next to the lift.

Shame really but don’t risk it! Check before you book then double check before you unpack.

This is a very comfortable hotel.The bedrooms are large,all the facilities you would expect from a 5 star hotel.Situated right in the centre.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice,though on 2 occasions they cleared my plates before I finished.
The only glitch was that there was no water for 4 hours after I arrived.The hotel sent a printed written apology and 2 pieces of chocolate which I didn't eat.Better off to do nothing.

Clean, modern furnishing, excellent location, quiet, includes a superior lounge, friendly and personable staff (thank you Kire, Phillip, Sandro, and many others), and safe.

We had a suite with a balcony. The bathroom is a quirky setup. I wish the separate sink was a closet.

All in all a superior experience. Everyone at this property went above and beyond to be helpful.

I would recommend this hotel without any reservation.

This was great option in Skopje. Centrally located on the main square and close to all the major sites. Great F&B offer at hotel both a la carte and during the conference breaks. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Very nice room. The shower is not comfortable though, the water gets out because there is no door.
Very nice spa, three different saunas, hammam and a pool. I greatly enjoyed it.

I did not want to leave ALL of the staff were incredible, everyone so nice & helpful. The hotel is old but that gave it charachter. Lots of food options for breakfast, club lounge and theres a restaurant - Locatied VERY close to everything The square is steps away with lots to see, do & eat. Room peaceful & comfey - really wanted to stay! Take a walking or day tour Musems close by- there is so much history - research taxi ahead or have hotel schedule ride from airport HAVE some $MKD (there are exchange near hotel as last resort) USE before leaving the country- hard to exchange $ later- Some take Euro or Cards (have MC or VISA versus Amex) This is the perfect hotel to see this wonderfully quirky city and the staff make it 6 STARS!!!

The hotel has a perfect location in the city center, close to the enormous statue of Alexander the Great. Our room was of good size and very clean. The breakfust buffet had many choices and the executive lounge was nice.

Good location and friendly staff. Carpeting and curtains in rooms need to be upgraded to laminate flooring and blinds.

Upon hotel look very regal on the exterior. Interior lobby, restaurant and bar has a modern look. And the hotel room I booked was very gorgeous and spacious. It had the toilet separate to the bathroom. The had complimentary water. The view from the windows was nice just wish they opened fully to have like a balcony type vibe.

The downfalls were not many vegan options for food in the restaurant. And the spa voucher I had received I couldn’t actually use for any of the treatments they had as they were fully booked.

Avoid taking hotel's transportation to airport. I paid a premium for the transfer. The car was late by 29 minutes and not only that, it is an old Opel van that I was afraid it might not make it to the airport! The staff said it was a Mercedes!
There were a lot of taxis outside the hotel waiting for customers. So don't get ripped off by this so called "premium" service!

The Marriott Skopje is located in downtown Skopje direct on the famous Macedonia Square and the Stone Bridge. So, location wise the hotel has a top location.
We spent three wonderful nights at the Marriott Skopje.
I had contacted the management team at the Marriott Skopje prior to our arrival as I wanted to make sure that we would have a balcony, as I have always known that all Marriott Hotel rooms are smoke free. Since my wife smokes, this request was top important!
We received a wonderful room upgrade to an Executive Suite on the top floor with, of course, a nice large balcony!
The view from our room was also great as you could clearly see the Macedonia Square from our balcony as well as the adjoining mountain with the famous cross on its’ top.
I got an abundant amount of work completed in my room as there was a great work area provided in the living room.
Our room was very unique and had an unusual bath room. As it almost ran the entire length of the suite. At one end was a walk-in shower followed by a large bathtub, followed by the toilet, and then dual sinks. Each of these facilities had a door for privacy.
The breakfast buffet was really fantastic as they had a very large baked good section that the you will chef informed me that the majority of the baked goods were all made in the hotels kitchen! The service each morning was tops and very professional.
To top off our stay was our daily visit to the M Club, which is the Executive Lounge of the hotel. It had a daily Happy Hour, and we always met our friends on the open terrace. The M Club had an excellent selection of wines to start with a very nice Italian sparkling wine, plus three local Northern Macedonian wines, consisting of a great White wine, a nice Bush or Rose wine and a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon. Each night there was a new buffet, but unfortunately for me it always consisted of either a chicken, beef or port dish, so I made wonderful use of the Room Service Menu each night. This menu had two great seafood entrées: a Salmon steak, a fantastic tasting Sea Bass filet and a delicious Clam Fettuccini.
My wife made full use of the Marriott Skopje Spa throughout our short stay.
Overall, our stay was a fantastic three night experience, and I recommend that anyone that has never stayed at this exceptional Marriott property tries the Marriott Skopje, I guarantee that your stay will be great, trust me.
