Rustic Exterior, room was clean, beautiful scenery at the back of the property. Pool and Hot tub were spectacular! Looks can be deceiving would stay again.

The lobby was so dirty. The tree was loaded with dust and dirt, not a good first impression. It was very expensive and no breakfast included. Missing a second luggage rack or space to put one.

Great place! Nice clean room. Keurig coffee in room. Quiet location and comfortable bed. Lovely outdoor pool and hot tub with seating poolside. Picnic tables/seating available overlooking the river. No breakfast, and the attached restaurant was closed. Office is not staffed consistently. Overall a great experience.

This hotel was an unexpected pleasure! The rooms were clean and spacious and the grounds/view exceptional.

We enjoyed the room very much. It was comfortable and quiet and we needed the rest. Would recommend.

Awesome and best place to stay in Mexican Hat. We stayed 3 nights in eary Oct 2025 to enjoy the surrounding areas. It was well with it. And the pool, albeit to warm, was awesome too. Plenty of comfortable chairs and beautiful views. We will definitely remember this place and stay again next time we're in the area.

Convenient to monument valley

Much better than it has any right to be! They've really taken what could have been a run-down old motel that exists and makes money solely due to its proximity to Monument Valley and stepped it up several notches. The rooms are spacious and clean, modestly updated, and best of all, they have a large pool and spa (open 24hrs) that overlooks a river. They've put in outdoor lighting and a wonderful little community space down by the edge of the river with a small basic grill to have a quaint little cookout while taking in the scenery. There are gentle walking trails down to the river's edge if you want to head down there and during our trip we saw a half a dozen fresh animal tracks in the silt. So cool.

Wonderful views and hot tub

Room great modern layout style with coffee machine microwave and fridge. Outdoor pool area and riverside tables/barbecue area were excellent- a good place to chill after driving/exploring. Good location -20 minutes from monument valley - restaurant 5 minutes walking distance

A good enough place to sleep, convenient for Monument Valley, but needs a bit of a do up!

Very nice pool area with seating to view San Juan river below and view of bluffs was beautiful. Easy check in.

Outdoor and pool area are amazing! Fabulous photos from poolside. Not many options for food so I recommend Sizzling Steaks within walking distance. Food and service were excellent.

One of the best hotel beds I've ever slept on. The outside is pretty plane, sign is old and rundown, but inside the rooms are nic with all the amenities you would except. Pool and hot tub were really nice with a view over the San Juan river. Only complaint is both ice me machines were broken. There is a gas station 100 yds up the road though.

Surprisingly nice and polished in spite of its somewhat dour curb appeal.
