The room was newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Parking and access to nearby dining and shopping make this property a very convenient place to stay.

From the outside, looks like a motel so I was a little dubious about the very positive reviews I read. But then - the room was beautiful - more like a high-end rental than a hotel room. Completely renovated, tastefully decorated, and spotless. Staff really nice, too. The only downside is the highway noise, but the location is convenient. Will be back!

The staff, check in and friendly in providing local information are commendable. very quite neighborhood, very clean room and access to parkway is a big plus point to this place.

The Carriage House is our go to place to stay when visiting family in Hamden. Not only are the rooms modern, clean & affordable, the staff are welcoming! We love this hotel & highly recommend it to all!

Everything was nicely decorated and very clean and the mgr Damian was awesome! He catered to all ur needs! I would definitely stay there again!

Was perfect for me safe easy parking and didn’t have a motel feel it was more of a comfortable feeling. The area could be questionable, but I felt secure at the hotel.

The hotel worker at check in was very friendly and helped carry my bag up the stairs. The room is spacious and comfortable, very well-furnished for this price point. The shower was excellent with hot water and good water pressure. The coffee machine comes stocked with Starbucks pods. A bus stop right across the street goes right to the Yale campus. Parking is free. A very affordable place to stay for a trip to Yale. The only downsides was that there was only one window and it looks out on the breezeway so had to keep it closed for privacy. And there's quite a lot of road noise. Overall though highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Carriage House. It was clean and comfortable, and they were able to accommodate my late check in with a simple process. The room seems to have been recently renovated and has everything we needed.
