Staybridge Suites Toledo - Rossford - Perrysburg by IHG

My family and I stopped at this hotel overnight while traveling the Ohio turnpike.

The front desk staff were pleasant, but exhibited questionable customer service. My first possible concerning experience was that the gentleman at the front desk asked to examine my credit card before I used it. After his examination, he handed my credit card back for me to swipe in the credit card machine on the counter. Then, he asked me to sign a form stating that I will be charged $500 for any room damages. Maybe this is a standard ask of all hotel guests? Lastly, he asked me if I had any pets with me (which I did not). I definitely would have indicated having a pet when making the reservation. His front desk co-worker who was clicking away in the computer all of this time told him “the room is ready” then glanced at me with an embarrassed look and walked away which was curious. This was at 5:00pm. We were assigned room 204 and it was in shabby condition.

Funny that he asked me to sign a waiver about paying $500 for room damages. The room was not in good shape (see attached pictures). And the TV in the King bedroom did not work. We had a two bedroom suite. The walls of all three rooms were painted a dingy, dull color that made the atmosphere appear dark.

The free morning breakfast was lacking. The only edible items were fruit.

We made a hasty exit first thing in the morning. With a paint refresh and carpet/wall repairs, this hotel room would score much higher.

Stay was horrible. Got in one room with torn carpet. TVs did not work. Had to pack up everything and move to a new room where the TVs also did not work.

Room was clean - though it does need some maintenance for wear and tear. Mostly in the bathroom - door wasn't working properly and stains on ceiling and just a little run down compared to the rest of the suite.
Overall - fantastic stay. Will definitely book again!

Our room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was bad and soda dispenser not working. For $265 for a one-night stay we’d expect something better than dry, overcooked sausage and mediocre powdered eggs for breakfast.

The room accommodations was spacious, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast, unfortunately was not up to par. I am well travelled and have been to many hotels that offer free breakfast. I don’t expect five star quality meals, however I also don’t expect burnt tasteless eggs, and moldy bread and bagels. Definitely not worth the extra money for a free inedible meal.

Clean and comfortable bed, but the rooms are tired with carpet showing wear and stains, even visible tack strip where the carpet transitions to the bathroom tile. There’s cracked tiles near the kitchen and the sofa just looks beat up. The rooms just need a refresh. But this is a good location just off I 80, so very convenient if you’re passing through.

Nice spacious room, and quiet hotel!

While we only stayed one night, all 6 in our party really enjoyed the hotel. We rented a suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchen and a living area. Aside from a couple small tears in the carpet and a couch that could use an update, it was more than we could have asked for. Beds were super comfy, the hotel was clean and all of the staff were super friendly. The area felt safe and was conveniently located near a gas station and highway entrance. Nice selection for breakfast, but only one meat choice. The only thing that could have made the suite better was a cardtable and chairs to sit around. Would definitely stay here again!

The Staybridge Suites was an ideal place to stay for my family of 5 + 2 grandparents. The free breakfast was substantial and the beds were comfortable. Everyone was super friendly and the cleanliness was much appreciated as I am one to have high standards for that. Also, the outdoor space/seating area was really nice to hang out in. They had a basketball hoop that you can play at if you ask the front desk for a ball. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We got a two bedroom suite and one of the rooms didn't have a door. When we asked the front desk they said that they knew. Because they have sliding barn doors that have gaps a person sitting on the couch in the den could see someone on the toliet on the one room

From the moment we arrived, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with staff going above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and informed.

Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean, and the staff was amazing. It was very central and close to the highway, making it very convenient.

This hotel is one of my favorites that I travel to for work. Nice, friendly people and its clean. The breakfast is also very good.

In need of some updates. Upholstery on couch was worn through. Carpet was in rough shape at edge of bathroom entrance.
