Staff were friendly. A warm welcome. Little extras like the use of a microwave was very useful.

Very friendly and helpful staff, always going the extra mile. Room clean and bright. Great ensuite with piping hot water. Wifi now extended to more distant rooms. Continental and cooked breakfast included. Access to TV room, conference room and dining room with microwave - convenient if you want to bring in take out food. Can walk easily to center of Gorey with castle, a good selection of restaurants, shops and other amenities and picturesque harbor. A perfect destination for us.

Coffee, tea, water replenished daily. When we left towels on hooks, they didn't replace them, well done!
We met friends at this hotel and we were able to use the lounge and kitchen one night, this was very relaxed, rather than eating in a restaurant every night.

Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Schöne Lage, man kann zu Fuß zum Strand oder zum Abendessen gehen.

The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, always happy and genuinely friendly.

Everything was great. The whole place was well furnished and very clean. The staff were invariably friendly and helpful. I arrived late and was greeted at the door. The hotel was quiet. My room was spacious with a nice ensuite, TV, desk, fridge and kettle tea/coffee, shampoo/shower gel + soap provided. Lovely tree outside my room which overlooked the backs of cottages - I was on the side of the building. The location is perfect, lovely walks in the area, 2 minutes to a great swimming beach, very regular bus service into town, Gorey Pier 10 minute walk to pubs/restaurants + castle. The hotel had everything I needed. Downstairs they had a dining room with copious amounts of food for breakfast. They also had a sun terrace that caught the evening sun and views over fields, you could hang your wet swimming wear to dry there. There was an additional dining room for guests with microwave, plates/cutlery if you brough in take away food, and a large visitor's TV room. They had free parking and a meeting room you could use - people stored their bicycles there if needed. I cannot rave enough about this place - the facilities and everything about it was excellent, the fact it was so cost effective is no reflection on the quality, which was also right up there. This is value for money +++++ I would definitely stay again. Okay it's asking me to rank a beach and has the wrong one (because it's a machine and doesn't know the Island.) Long beach is a 2 minute walk - it's a sweep of pure white sand with swimmable water when the tide is up, with toilets, parking, showers and kids toys to borrow. When it's down swim behind the castle. The next good beach (on the 2 bus route) is Anne Port, Archirondel is good but stony, you can walk + swim at the breakwater of St Catherine. The east coast heading to town (bus route 1) - La Rocque is safe to swim as is Le Hocq and all along la Mar.

We liked the idea that you could get a take away and there were facilities to eat it in I.e a separate dining area .Also liked there being a lounge
