We enjoyed our stay and te opportunity to experience a ryokan.
Pros:

The customer service was amazing and the hotel was peaceful

Cons:

We had a wonderful stay. One particular staff member (Veronica) went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. Their support really made a difference and enhanced our overall experience.

Nice hotel convenient to Fuji.
Pros:

Great food. Nice onsen. Good value.
Pros:

Incredible buffet breakfast and dinner with smorgasbord of options but very busy with several tour busses. Short drive / cycle around lake. Some of best photos of mt Fuji across the lake. Able to see the top of Fuji from the dining room. Good onsen. Nice surrounding forest and short walk to lake. 30 mins drive to Kawaguchiko (most famous lake) however found best photos were just a short 5 mins drive around the lake!! Overall good location and would be fantastic without so many other people.

Cons:

Lots of tourists!!!! Very very busy. Bus loads!! Queues for food despite 2 seperate dining times (could only eat for an hour). Noisy foreign guests constantly talking loudly in corridors despite signs on corridors asking people to be quiet. Hundreds of people; however was peak cherry blossom season. Last night in Japan so back in tourist areas / day trip distance from Tokyo hence so many tourists!!!

Pros:

The room was clean and not very large, but it was perfectly adequate for all essential needs. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Although the night shift staff didn’t speak English very well, they really made an effort to overcome the language barrier and understand what I needed. They were even kind enough to come up to my room to assist me when I said I would come down later but hadn’t shown up for a while.

The onsen was absolutely wonderful, with both an indoor and an outdoor bath—and it was free, which made it even better. I honestly wished I could have stayed longer just to enjoy it more.

The food was decent—not outstanding, but not bad either.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come back if I have the chance.

Cons:

I think I’ll wait until my next stay to see if there’s anything that could be improved, but this time, there was honestly nothing to complain about at all.
