The experience was good at the Darbhanga restaurant and Arif attended is well. Very friendly staff and food was delicious.

5 on 5 superb love the experience. Out of the world Arif and his team Ali ,Sandeep and Manpreet fave an amazing gastronomic experience. Everything was soo toothsome.. They made all our food related wishes full filled. Sanjana , Aushotosh and his team in front desk was excellent. They kept note of every minute details. The boat guy Abhnandan was sooo good. And the janitor at main gate. Everyone was really good. My kashi trip was so heart and soul full. Taking tons of memories in our heart. Thanks to the entire birjram team🙏🙏🙏

Our two-night stay at BrijRama Palace with my wife became far more memorable than we could have imagined. The experience began even before we reached the hotel, when Abhinandan, Bhanu, and Babulal picked us up by boat from Namo Ghat. What should have been a calm ride across the Ganges suddenly turned into a dramatic encounter with nature. A thunderstorm, hailstorm, and fierce winds pushed our boat from one side of the river toward the other, while the Ganges became ferocious with rising waves. Despite this being their first extreme weather experience on duty, all three handled the situation with remarkable calmness, courage, and professionalism. On arrival, the energy shifted beautifully. Brijesh ji and the hotel’s in-house Pandit ji welcomed us with sacred mantras and a Rudraksha mala, which felt deeply grounding after the chaos of the river. We stayed in the Maharaja Room, which was luxurious, atmospheric, and offered unforgettable views of the Ganges. Since we were completely drenched, Manpreet at check-in and Manish, the hotel manager, immediately understood our situation, arranged towels, and took us straight to the room without delay. The complimentary laundry and curated inclusions added further value to the experience. Dining was another highlight. Chef Arif was gentle, polite, and gracious, while Sandeep at the restaurant was attentive, courteous, and consistently excellent. A very special mention goes to Rajnikant Kaushik ji, the outsourced Pandit ji, who arranged Mangla Aarti at Tatkal speed, accompanied us to the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, and organised a private spiritual visit to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kaal Bhairav Temple. His access, trust, and network made us feel less like tourists and more like privileged insiders. Checkout with Khushi was the perfect ending. Her warmth, friendliness, and humour left us smiling, and the departure pooja through the in-house Pandit ji was a beautiful final touch. Highly recommended!

We were picked up by boat from Namo Ghat by Abhinandan, Bhanu, and Babulal, and what should have been a serene ride across the Ganges suddenly transformed into a dramatic battle with nature. We found ourselves caught in an intense thunderstorm, hailstorm, and fierce winds. At one point, the force of the weather pushed our boat from one shore toward the other, while the Ganges became ferocious, with waves growing larger by the minute. It was honestly the kind of experience one never forgets. Despite this being, as they later shared, their first encounter with weather this extreme on duty, all three handled the situation with remarkable professionalism, calmness, and courage. Their composure gave us confidence in a moment that could easily have become frightening.

As if the universe wanted to balance adrenaline with spirituality, we arrived at the palace entrance to be greeted by Brijesh ji and the hotel’s in-house Pandit ji with a beautiful welcome ceremony of sacred mantras and a Rudraksha mala. After the chaos of the river, this felt deeply grounding and almost surreal, like stepping from a storm straight into sanctity.

We stayed in the Maharaja Room, and what an experience that was in its own right. Waking up to uninterrupted views of the Ganges from a heritage palace is something difficult to describe in words. The room was luxurious, atmospheric, and rich with old-world charm. After our forced river adventure, we were both completely drenched, and this is where the attentiveness of the staff truly stood out. Manpreet at check-in and Manish, the hotel manager, handled everything with warmth and efficiency. They immediately understood that all we needed was to get dry and settled, quickly arranged towels, and escorted us straight to our room without any delay. It may sound like a small gesture, but in that moment it meant a lot. The inclusion of complimentary laundry in the room rate was another thoughtful touch that we appreciated immensely.

The Maharaja Suite also came with an exceptional range of complimentary inclusions and curated experiences. Of course, as they say, there is no free lunch in luxury hospitality, but BrijRama certainly knows how to make guests feel that they are receiving extraordinary value.

Dining at the hotel was another highlight. Chef Arif was one of the most polite, gentle, and gracious chefs I have ever come across, wonderfully far removed from the Gordon Ramsay stereotype many of us jokingly imagine when we hear “head chef.” Sandeep at the restaurant was equally exceptional, attentive without being intrusive, and consistently courteous throughout our meals.

A very special mention must go to Rajnikant Kaushik ji, the hotel’s outsourced Pandit ji, who was simply brilliant in arranging things that are not always easy to access, even with money. He organised Mangla Aarti for us at Tatkal speed, took us personally for the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, and arranged a private guided spiritual visit to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kaal Bhairav Temple. In India, money can certainly buy luxury to a point, but there are some experiences where what truly matters is access, trust, and network, and this is where his support made all the difference. We felt less like tourists and more like privileged insiders.

Finally, checkout with Khushi was the perfect closing note to the stay. She was warm, friendly, and had a lovely sense of humour that left us smiling as we departed. We also received a departure pooja ritual through the inhouse panditji.

BrijRama Palace did not just give us accommodation. It gave us an unforgettable story of adventure, spirituality, luxury, and heartfelt hospitality all woven into one. We arrived soaked, windswept, and slightly shaken, but left deeply grateful and thoroughly enchanted.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting not just to stay in Varanasi, but to feel Varanasi.

Chef Raif and Chef Ajay were outstanding. They prepared a delicious vegetarian Indian meal, and every dish was full of rich, balanced flavors. Truly one of the most satisfying meals we’ve had.

Everthing absolutely great Beautiful rooms good food; nice waiters all arround. Special cook Amir in the Restaurant he serv fresh banana cake and lot more.the Interieur from the Hotel leads you to dream.And the space toilet in our Suite was great, 😊I recoment this Hotel
