Hotel is excellent and location is amazing.
I m dissapointed. the toilet bath without shampoo and bath top up. no toilet rolls. swimming pool so small.
The room was small but the TV was a good source of subtitled movies in English and other languages. The internet was a complete hassle to use. Other than that it was a great base of operations with extremely good Air Conditioning.
Breakfast was also really well priced and there was good eating every morning. Atmo (the Chef) introduced us to some of the local dishes like Nasi Pecel (Rice with vegetables in peanut sauce) and some dishes of his creation that were extremely good. He created this dish with baked rice in broth with Kerupik which was extremely good.
I'm happy with my stay overall. The facilities were beautiful, but not quite as advertised online. The rooftop area was closed until my last night and the pool didn't have an attendant leading to awkward calls into the restaurant for towels and unsightly rubbish in that area. Staff were helpful and pleasant, and whilst not anticipating needs, were able to respond quickly to requests. Food was okay- the fried chicken was delicious, but came with inedible chips: the es campur tasted like strawberry milkshake and came with blocks of ice, not shaved ice- a strange dish. Waitstaff didn't know the sequence of service well and were overbearing when they delivered a bill. More training needed there. No safety box was available in the reception- annoying. The room wouldn't have fit two people well despite having two beds. It was small with furniture (desk, chair, luggage rack) for one. The bed and pillow was comfortable and clean. The shower was hot with western toilet next to it. The reception staff were the best- they seemed genuinely friendly and caring when responding to customers. The hotel security was great - but it was noisy just from the guests. I could hear too much in my room- especially the door bells ringing from my floor and above and below me. The walls are beautiful, but thin!
