PinkCoco Gili Trawangan - Constant Surprises- for Cool Adults Only

Great place to stay. Not too far from the restaurants and party also pretty quiet after 10 pm

I don’t really understand the high reviews for this hotel.

Pros: The pool is warm and open without strict times, the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, breakfast is solid, and the massages are very nice.

Cons: The rooms are very basic (a splash of pink paint doesn’t make up for it), the internet was terrible, and the shower initially didn’t drain. Towels were inconsistent, the wind rattled through the door, and there was no hairdryer. We also had an ant infestation plus other spiders and bugs, with dirty floors and walls. The location is quite far from the rest of the island, and there were regular power cuts (oddly not an issue elsewhere on the island). The one drink I tried at the bar (an Espresso Martini) was awful. Lastly, the so-called “constant surprises” stop being a surprise if you stay longer than 3 days.

The staff here are amazing 😍. I miss them already. From greeting us with our welcome drink and cold towel, the smiles and conversations. The delicious breakfast and asking how our sleep was. Asking what plans we are up to. It felt like they truly cared.
Ooohh and the constant surprises all day and at bed!! ! I don’t want to spoil the fun and tell you all the treats you will receive staying here. Rent a bike to explore, book a massage, enjoy the sunset. I want to come back.

The hotel was great, it was clean, good food and the staff would bring over random snacks throughout the day. There was also entertainment at night which many other hotels didn’t have. The only negative would be that although this hotel is on the beach you can’t swim there.

Highly recommend. Wonderful time. Food and staff were excellent. Sunset with DJ and fire juggling was amazing! Easy to get to all the sites on a bike.

We love Pink Coco! Super nice spot with a great sunset view--they reserve the front seats for hotel guests only and have fire dancing and happy hours every night. The pool is great, there's an honesty bar, and the staff was AMAZING. Super helpful whenever we needed them. It's a little further from the pier/most of the bars which we enjoyed, but they do have bike rentals which made the trip into town much quicker. One thing to note is the downstairs rooms bathrooms are outside, they are covered and in the back and completely private but it means they're hot in the day and can be a little buggy. No big deal and the "outdoor" shower was kind of fun, but might be less enjoyable for others!

Really refreshing and phenomenal service…the sunset shows are not to miss. It’s a cute little property! Great location, rooms are nicely accommodated, and the staff is so kind. The breakfasts are also quite delicious. Oh, and the pool snacks are delightful!

Location is great for sunset and far enough from the main drag to avoid loud noise at night. Pool is very nice and the staff is great. We loved the little touch at turn down every night with a little gift and fun note. We would stay here again!

Room is spacious and clean. The e sunset beach is amazing! The hotel is about a 20min walk to the main eateries or, you can explore the island with their many pink bikes or, hop on a horse carriage! Would definitely visit other pink coco hotels in future.

So definitely not what we had expected, but in a fun way. Excellent staff, great rooms and close enough to all the things you'd want to do without being right in the middle of the busiest parts of the island.
