Tamajun Hotel

I loved the location and charming old school atmosphere . It is a throw back to another time .
If you like experiencing a vintage Thailand river town environment this is the place for you .

Very, very nice view of the river.
The hotel is situated in an old waking street. Its lovely.
But sure is overpriced for chantaburi.

The room , blanket and pillows were cleaned and nice weather during our stayed.

ただ部屋は窓がなく埃っぽかった。

Meget trangt og dårlig renhold. Lyttet litt på en løs benk tik å legge koferten på som du ser av bilde var det ikke gjort reint under og jeg har mange små bitt av dyr eller fluer.. godt det er vinter må jo tømme kofferten utenfor når jeg kommer hjem. Så jeg ikke får med meg dyr inn.

This hotel is such a gem - pun intended! We loved strolling to the gem market and wandering the streets. Dinner and breakfast were good. Ambiance was really nice. Sitting area overlooking the river was nice.

Like - location near the town center and in the Old Town area. Beautiful setting overlooking the river. with parking.
For what we were looking for it was ideal - some might find it a little basic / rustic but that was its charm to us. Good value, nice bar downstairs.

Had a really great stay here. The rooms and hotel are so unique. They give you free bikes to ride around the city with. Breakfast was simple, but free and good. Their dinner menu is great, best Thai meals I've had in Thailand (they made my food without fish sauce). Such a unique place and in a good location, I'll stay here again.

Servicen fra personalet var ikke god. Da vi ankom kom de ikke til receptionen og det tog over 15 at finde vores booking, til trods for vi havde hele bookningen skrevet ud. Den bestilte børneseng var der ikke. Morgenmaden var meget kedelig.hotellets bageri/cafe var slet ikke i drift.

Couldnt find our reservation on arrival..... WHY CAN'T HOTELS.COM MAKE THE RESERVATION UNDER HOTELS.COM, INSTEAD OF EXPEDIA - DO WE, AS CUSTOMERS HAVE TO KNOW THIS ? Very very noisy room, facing right towards the street. Nearly no light in the bathroom (used my phone-light to be able to shave). Sold as a theme-hotel.... wonder what was the theme in our room (room 10). Smiling and friendly staff, but with no clue what to do - but busy with mobile-phones..... Simple and tasty. breakfast. On check out they wanted to check the room (perfectly ok with us), but after 9min of waiting (we were only customers in the reception, with 3 staff members (one very busy on Line-app on the phone), with no answer (room was 10 meters away), we had to leave, cos of waiting transport.... Nice location, walking distance to most places of interest. Millions of mosquitoes.

Ok hotel in quit area. Mostly a walking street with some motorcycle and few cars. Food good. Room very dark because of poor lighting.

Great place to stay.. The decor is insane but the restaurant is great and right on the river. A romantic place to dine! A great relaxing place to stop.

รูปห้องพักดูสวยดีน่าพัก แต่เจอห้องจริงแล้วผิดหวังมาก... ห้องทึบๆทึมๆ ไม่มีแม้กระทั่งหน้าต่าง ไม่สมราคาเลย อาจจะดีที่อยู่กลางเมือง ใกล้แหล่งท่องเที่ยว แต่ทางเข้าแคบ แออัด ผิดหวังกับการจองครั้งนี้มาก
