Pros:

Very friendly, homey, comfortable place. Spacious room with personality. Lobby doubles as a coffee/pastry shop

A bit longer walk from BART station than I would prefer, but still walkable

Pros:

Location across from Chez Panisse. Visiting the restaurant was our purpose in coming to Berkeley so that was convenient.

Cons:

No parking. Seems ridiculous for a hotel to not have parking. Should have emphasized this and given options.

Pros:

They had one free coffee per day, I also got pastries, both were good and the staff was very nice. Was a short walk from the Berkeley campus where I went for a conference.
