Cons:

Upon booking (long before arriving) I asked them to organise a pickup from the airport, since my plane was landing late after a long international trip. I would have paid of course. They answered that I should call them on the day; I explained I don't have a US phone number, and they subsequently outright refused to help (answering after I had arrived), so I had to organise my own pickup. This is a routine request that I have asked many much smaller hotels before, and was always satisfied with the service provided. It made my trip more difficult and was very disappointing from a hotel their size.

The room itself was ok, too large for one person (I wish they had had smaller rooms for one person). I was woken up several times during the night by a loud humming/whirring sound.

I rented a car for a day and parked it in the parking lot they have some spots in. Parking was free to the public on weekends but they decided to charge me anyway. I had to ask them twice to refund it.

Cons:

The Commons is not a robust, thriving area. The room was larger than most and very clean which we appreciated. The strobe light on the smoke detector that flashed all night and the pancake-flat pillows made sleep next to impossible.

Cons:

The parking was confusing. I paid for Marriott parking, but there was never any space available in the designated Marriott spaces. While that was a bit Inconvenient, I never saw the parking arm down. Looked like there was free parking during my entire stay. If I'm not staying in designated Marriott spaces and the parking is free in the rest of the structure, then what did I pay Marriott for? I did get a couple days reimbursed, but had to ask for it.

Great location on the commons. Walkable to everywhere. I’d stay again for sure, but the rates fluctuate a lot.
