Good hardware, poor service from robotic staff.

Great location, nice property

Cons:

Unfortunately the staff pulled down the score. Check in for our group of eight took 30mins with utter confusion on the part of staff. Sticking to rigid procedures, no initiative by staff. At breakfast, got asked to return to queue even though I had given breakfast ticket to another staff. Guess it’s a Japanese thing.

nice hotel near station, but kinda expensive
Pros:

location was good, next to Nagoya station, room was on top floor, clean and spacious

Cons:

only some delay at breakfast, not sure why i was not given food as per queue, i felt that they forgot the food for me and put preference to expat males

Great stay, highly recommend and convenient location!
Pros:

The staff were very friendly upon arriving and check-in was smooth and fast. We were also surprised to learn the public spa bath was tattoo-friendly as my husband and I are fully covered. So that was a nice surprise! The lobby was nice and easy to get to the elevator with heavy luggage. Room is spacious with a good sized bathroom. The view was superb! We also got a thank you gift upon checking out, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend and will stay there again!

Cons:

The shampoo and conditioner provided were not the best quality for long hair. Also didn't include any hand lotion or body lotion, which was needed for cooler dry weather.

Excellent service
Pros:

Best location if you come from or go to the airport as it’s very close to Meitetsu train line. Unlike majority of hotels in Japan, the room is not too small, and has everything you need - something that I always like from Mitsui hotels. The aircon is true to the temperature.
Service is excellent, when I checked in my luggage which was sent from Tokyo through Takkyubin had even been put in my room. Special thanks to Ms. Nakamura who helped me find some stuffs in Nagoya and even made extra effort to call the store to make sure its availability. Also thanks to Mr. Yamaoka who helped to send my luggage back to Tokyo.
Going to JR Shinkansen is also a breeze, after you cross the road in front of Loewe/Midland Square, just walk straight ahead so you don’t need to go up or down some stairs and then you’ll get to the JR gold clock entrance and follow all the signs to shinkansen tracks.

Recommended for a short stay for its good location.
Pros:

There many eateries nearby to meet a range of budgets. If you know how to use the underground passage way, it is probably very good but we usually use the roads. 😉Staff is v helpful and do try to help if you seek it.

Cons:

The location is near to the station and a lot of amenities. We had some difficulty finding our way there via the underground passage. The public bath can be extremely crowded on weekends. The aircon for my room is not really effective because of the position of my bed so I did not sleep well. The room is small so if you need a lot of space to open your luggage etc, you really need to book a much bigger room.

Pros:

The property is located near to train and subway stations. Access to train and subway using the underground connections save a lot of trouble when it is raining.

Cons:
