We enjoyed our stay. Location was very convenient for us.
Pros:

There was no breakfast provided. We were told by the staff that Candlewood Suites is geared towards long-term stays. We only stayed one night. (Not sure why folks staying more than one night wouldn't want to have a breakfast in the morning).

Cons:

The shower diverter valve, and the shower head, both needed some maintenance. And, the shower head was so high that my wife could not have reached it during a shower to adjust it.

Clean, friendly, High pet fee
Pros:

We liked the location off the highway, and the fact that it was near to grassy areas for our dog. The staff was very friendly both morning and evening. The room was clean and the facility was very nice.

Cons:

We found that $75 slipped in as a pet fee for one night stay was exorbitant. They explained that it was meant to be for a weeklong stay, but when you only stay one night, it is very very high. I can’t imagine people really do stay for a week as everyone was coming and going in the middle of Nebraska.

Location in vicinity of our planned activities.

Cons:

I was told a $25 charge would be done for 'incidentals' at check-in. Woke up to the full bill for over $800 attempted to be charged. It was NOT a pre-auth - IT WAS THE ACTUAL BILL. The same happened to our friends who were staying in a different room. The hotel billed and withdrew the full amount from their account the 1st day, after being told the same about the $25.00.

I have NEVER seen a hotel require the full amount at check-in. Ive had suites in Vegas hotels, such as the Wynn and they didnt even do that. Highly disappointing.

Also, our room did not have a coffee machine. Our friend's room did.
