Nice view on the 37th floors, swimming pool.
My wife and kid really enjoy swimming there.
The location is goodz
The room is great with the price. Breakfast is okay.
Wi-Fi is good. Very close to Sunway putra mall.
But the elevator is so slow and not good maintaince.

I previously stayed at Upper Regalia Kuala Lumpur and had a wonderful experience. My apartment was on the 37th floor, offering stunning panoramic views of the city skyline. One of the absolute highlights is the rooftop infinity pool, where you can relax while taking in an unobstructed view of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, especially magical during sunset or when the city lights sparkle at night.

The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and shopping areas. The apartment itself was clean, well-furnished, and comfortable, making it perfect for both short and long stays. Security was reliable, and the building facilities were well-maintained.

If you are visiting Kuala Lumpur and want a mix of comfort, convenience, and that "wow" city view, Upper Regalia is definitely worth considering. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, the infinity pool alone makes it an unforgettable stay.

Room was durty . Window it was broken and fixed by silicon. The view from the room it was good the viw from the pool its good .
Breakfast we didn't like it not many option.

We stayed at Upper View Regalia, Kuala Lumpur, from May 20th to 24th, booking two 2-bedroom apartments for a family of 7. While the check-in process was smooth, the experience after that was deeply frustrating and unacceptable.

In one of the apartments, both bedroom ACs were completely non-functional, and both bathrooms had leaking faucets and shower tubes, making it extremely uncomfortable and unhygienic. We raised this with the front desk, and instead of a proper resolution, we were handed three keys and asked to check other rooms ourselves – a very unprofessional approach.

Of the three options:

One was in worse condition than our current room,

One was just manageable (which we selected),

And the third had another non-functional AC.

We agreed to shift after our day trip, but the problems continued:

The second bedroom AC still didn’t cool properly.

On the second night, the master bedroom AC completely shut down.

We had to call maintenance at 12:30 AM, and the technician found the AC frozen with ice, needing two hours to fix.

The other bedroom AC was found to be low on gas, raising serious concerns about air quality and safety.

The front desk suggested moving us to two separate hotel rooms for the last night, but we did not consider it, as it would require repacking and moving again – not ideal for a family vacation.

Another major issue was the elevator system. There are only a few lifts for a massive complex, and they are extremely slow. If we had to leave by 2 PM, we had to be at the lift lobby by 1 PM, as it often took 20–30 minutes just to get an elevator.

Yes, the property does have a few positives:

A stunning infinity pool with a breathtaking view of the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower.

A decent in-house restaurant.

A well-stocked supermarket with all essentials available.

Easy access for Grab pick-ups and deliveries.

However, these do not make up for the poor maintenance, unreliable air conditioning, leaky bathrooms, slow elevators, and lack of proper customer service.

This was supposed to be a family vacation, and the accommodation plays a crucial role in the experience. We paid around $600, expecting a clean, comfortable, and hassle-free stay — what we got instead was stress and discomfort.

Upper View Regalia has potential, but unless they seriously improve their maintenance and guest experience, I cannot recommend this property to anyone — especially families.

I am very disappointed and frustrated with my experience. When I checked in, the parking situation was terrible. Upon arrival at the reception, the staff informed me that parking is free for the first 30 minutes. However, my debit card was charged RM3.30, which is unacceptable—especially since we had already paid RM20 per stay for parking.

If the parking fee is indeed RM20 as per your SOP or management policy, we are willing to accept it. But please make sure this information is clearly stated on the online booking platform to avoid surprises.

When we approached the counter to check in at 3:15 PM, a staff member named Nurul was very rude, with an unfriendly attitude. She double-checked our booking through the app and seemed surprised that our booking was actually for a 4-star room, not a 3-star. I suggest she be trained in proper customer service before dealing with guests.

Additionally, I requested to change rooms due to a bloodstain on the carpet. The Indian lady at the counter simply said, “Okay, I will call engineering.” This response was dismissive and unprofessional. The second room also had issues, including stained bedsheets that looked dirty.

The housekeeping staff also did not understand my requests properly, which made the situation even worse. Overall, this was a very unpleasant and unacceptable experience.

We stay at this hotel on February/10/2025, we stay 3 nights 4days. We arrived around 9pm. The lady at night time shift wasn't nice, talk kind of rude. The lady on the day very nice and very friendly.
This Hotel is old, room wasn't clean, And the house keeper didn't change the bath towels, we went out and came we saw the shampoo on the table. But not even make the bed or change towels
Our room is face to the HWY, we couldn't sleep for all 3 night because the window wasn't seal good, and the car noise we try to close it tight,
The only thing is good is the pool is on the top roof, you can see the view of twins Towner
Talk about swimming pool. I saw guests jumping in to the pool not even take a shirt out or go clean themselves first, they just go inside the pool with dirty T-shirts, I think is better more strict about it. When I saw I get out from the pool right away

we check in at about 10 pm and there is a long queue at the counter, and we got room upgrade, then we went to our room using the lift provided but it's a very long wait. on the way to our room,the hallway or the hotels room is a bit messy as i can see garbage like tissue and mineral waters. our room is at the end of the hallway and once we entered, a bad odour fills the room and the carpet in front of the toilet is the source of smell, then we lock the door but unfortunately it doesn't have a lock from inside which makes another scene when there's a guy suddenly open our room while we all were inside. that really makes us scared and not safe. overall of my stay here i would not repeat for the accomodation but would repeat for the view of the KLCC.

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star property. The location is good but the hotel is not well maintained and looks very outdated. We stayed there for 4 nights and 5 days. On day one we had to change the room 3 times as the other rooms didn't have either aircondition or the room is dirty or the toilets smelling. The fridge in the room was not working only freezer was working which was of no use to us. The microwave provided in the room was not working and there were no utensils to heat the food. The bottled water that needs to be refilled on a daily basis was not done and we had to buy from the store. There were lot of ants in the room. The garbage was not cleared daily and because of which the room was smelling. The staff comes after doing many followup with the reception personally as the phone in the room was not working. Our room was on 22 floor and had to go to reception to report any issue. The towels were changed on the last day that too in the night after reporting it to reception again many times. The TV in the room also was not working. The staff is not co-operative and were rude. The bedsheets were torn. Definitely not a place to stay and many other good hotels are available on a competitive price and much closer to Petronas Towers. The breakfast is even more worst as there is no option for vegetarians and most of the time the buffet was empty or with cold food. Nobody is bothered to refill the food and when you ask there is no response from the staff. The good thing is only the pool.

The room is good I'm surprised for this room and the staff also good they are so helpful and especially mentioned to Aish and Aina they are so wonderful. The staff at this hotel were absolutely outstanding from checking to check out they are so friendly professionals and eager to help . I can't say enough about the amazing staff here For sure will come back again.please come and stay here so cheap and affordable.

Good environenment..room very clean. Staff was friendly. The check in was smooth..the food was very nice...brekafast has variety choice.overall stay was superb..thanks to Mr.Zul and Mr.Ben has assist us during our stay..they is parking in ground floor with charge...very good experience during our stay.

nice enough hotel with amazing views from the roof pool into Kuala Lumpur. staff try hard and the cleaners are all amazing. breakfast is meh. Just needs a little spruce up. Would be happy to stay here again.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! I would give it a zero rating if possible. The check-in was extremely slow, the elevators were worse, and the unpleasantly strong smell should have warned us.

When we finally entered our room, we were hit by a strong odour of cigarettes (despite the rooms being advertised as non-smoking) and mold. The rooms and bathrooms were filthy, with peeling paint, mold, and unclean towels. The toilets were also disgusting.

As we took photos, we saw cockroaches scurrying around. The reception offered to ‘upgrade’ us, but the new room was even worse. Thankfully, our travel agent contacted Expedia, and we received a full refund, despite the hotel not responding to our complaints. I highly recommend finding another place to stay, as this hotel poses a health risk and should be shut down.

I stayed in this hotel few times, last 5 years ago. Then it was very nice place, now I don’t recommend it to anyone. Place is very dirty with ants walking all over the room (including bed). Our room was very dirty with stains on the floor and bed, damaged walls and shower. There was no exit to the balcony which was also in a very bad condition with cigarettes on the floor. The room that was offered in exchange was even in worse condition. If you choose it for the swimming pool and the view - it’s always crowded.

Room was so bad I asked to change.
Stained walls, a hole where an intercom used to be. Leaking toilet hose. No hot water. TV didnt work. Building plaster on bathroom door & walls. No where to hang towels. Not clean.
Little on kitchen. Not enough to prepare a meal.
Second room better but not very clean & still some faults.
The lifts are so slow. Expect to wait 7+ minutes for the lift then a crowded slow ride. Took me 15 minutes to get to my floor once
Only positives are the size of the rooms & the view.

Great place, hotel staff very nice and helpful in everything 😍🇲🇾 ,very good transport connection to the city center ,self-service laundry on site and well-stocked shops at the hotel taxi or grep app with a point , I can only write a positive impression 😊, there was nothing that would make me worry .

I am only writing this review so that people can avoid experiencing what we did. It is by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Our first room was covered in mold, broken and filthy. We changed rooms which was a significant improvement however it was still in bad shape. The carpet was stained, the wall paper was peeling and it absolutely stank of sewerage. The smell seemed to be coming from a vent in the ceiling. The staff were proactive when I spoke with them however the overall experience of the place was very negative. Although the view on the 37th floor was good, the pool water was green! It also took forever for the lift to arrive (not helped by the fact that half of them were broken). It is close to the MRT and mall however you cannot cross the river easily and have to rely on public transport to get to e.g. KLCC.

I didn't get the room I asked for. let the pictures speak for themselves. the front desk will not help. its hopeless. its the most disgusting hotel Ive ever been too. i booked a suite but got the most dirty room downgraded, as my room was taken?!

It’s a service apartment with 3 floors designated for hotel.
Lift takes ages to come.
Breakfast was good and had variety.
Overall property need some improvement specially with room and lift.
The place is beside Putra mall. Easily accessible to mrt and train stations.

Really bad experience. When we first got our room it was cleaned and there were dirty towels etc everywhere. The rooms were in general in bad shape, the elevators were extremely slow and you could easily wait 10 minutes to get down. The service was bad several times we didn’t have towels, soap and toilet paper and we had to go to the reception several times to finally get the things which weren’t in the room

The pool has a great view but not enough space for people to lay because of weird rules were you can’t lay too close to the pool
