Cheap and comfortable ac running

This is my second time here. This is a new building with clean good quality rooms and only 300 metres from the beach.

There is a new owner and the breakfast have definitely got better since the last time i was here.

Its slightly away from the noisy parts of Phu Quoc Town but you only have to walk down the road a little to get the Restaurants and Bars.

Very good value

spent 3 nights in the sun sea hotel from the 11th of June to the 13th.
the hotel was ok bed was good but wouldn't put clothes in wardrobe not cleaned.
breakfast was very poor only given beef noodles and eggs no cereal or bread or coffee
or fruit, other guests very noisy next door is karaoke every night blasting out. staff were very nice paid for my taxi to the airport, some really nice little restaurants opposite good home cooking..no pool in hotel beach 15 min walk. If your looking for cheap and cheerful its ok if you want peace and quite forget it

Pros - hotel room was large and clean, but they did not replace the towels on the second day.

Cons - breakfast was a joke... Fanta rather than orange juice for an example... Each day they only had 2 out of the four things on offer...

I got the free taxi to the airport, but I only need it to the airport.
WiFi was quick..
Floor downstairs needs to be re-tiled as the tiles are cracking and lifting off the floor.

The staff are welcoming and friendly enough, but i did not like it when one lady I saw beating a puppy with a ruler (it knocked over a waste paper bin).

Overall was ok for 2 nights, but nothing special.

Hotel itself is fine, not too far from night market, <10min taxi ride will get there, behind the hotel within a short walk is a nice beach with massager or bar, I've seen bunch ants around windows in the room, so don't leave any sweet things there. But the worst for some is they are 100% depend on solar water heater, if the hotel is busy, take shower during day time or you won't get any warm water at all, that's the way it is (told by receptionist), but with 30C + 80% humidity, i need to take shower before i go to sleep, and cold water is no big deal, but in case you have to take warm or hot bath, remember this.

We booked few nights stay at this hotel from 22 February 2018 and our communication with manager was totally shocked.
They provide a complimentary transfer, but in airport nobody picked us up. We waiting for someone but finally find a taxi service in airport.
When we came here and ask for a payment to our driver, managers say No, even 50% they didn’t want to pay.
No excuses or even smile, no glass of water and chair for a tired tourists with heavy begs. Just say “we are busy to manage all services and even inform you. You HAVE to call us from airport (we are traveling in Asia and of cause haven’t local number) and check it”. What??? ))

Hotel looks very old, dark like a flat of grandmother. Photos made a years ago. Owner rude, just want to get maximum from tourists with no any support.

We had to go and find something around under a hot sun, was lucky to get wi fi in Praha resort opposite the road but it was booked (really nice staff & interior), and find Naked Table hotel near by (new & much cheaper!!!) with swimming pool.
Now we are here and very happy

Few minutes walk to the beach, very nice hotel, well worth the price. Would stay again.

The hotel is very much value for money. Good standard and good service. Even though most staff knows very little English they are eager to help. If you rent motor bikes they can be parked securely behind a gate at night.

Only downside I would say is the water pressure. The breakfast could also have been a bit more exciting

Its not often that you visit a hotel and leave feeling like members of the family, but this is what happened here. The family who own the hotel are so welcoming, and their staff so friendly that we truly felt that they had did everything possible to make our visit perfect.

The location is ideal being between the north and south circuits, allowing you to explore the island easily, and there are a number of good and inexpensive restaurants very close by. The beach is only a couple hundred metres from the hotel and if you choose not to go into town, the small village is only a short walk away. The main town, Duong Dong is only a walk or short taxi drive away as are the key places to visit. The team can also arrange trips for you with a really friendly driver/guide who made the excursions we took most memorable. (Thanks you Mr Han).

The room, with a corner balcony, was large, everything worked well and cleanliness was absolute - truly a hotel where you could eat from the floor. Thorough daily cleaning kept it that way, from a very dedicated team of cleaning staff. We also had a daily gift of fruit in the room along with ample water and fresh flowers and an individually cooked breakfast each day! They even offered a daily free laundry service. Amazing.

It is truly the staff who make this hotel, they will do everything they can and always with a genuine smile. We highly recommend them, such a relaxing, easy and friendly place to stay.
We'd go back tomorrow. Thank you Mr Quang.

Note: Do be aware that on some of the hotel booking sites the location is not wholly accurate. If you can find the Long Beach Resort, this hotel is just a minutes walk south. Some sites have the location as being at the side of the airport...this is not the case. It's perfectly located within easy reach of the airport, but not alongside, so planes can be seen but not heard.

Friendly staff, big clean rooms. Very near the beach. Value for money.

We arrived late and took hotel near airport so we could explore what was best for a week stay the next morning. OK the rates are modest but the hotel is really not worth even that amount. Photos make a dingy space sparkle. The rooms are clean but bed light does not work.
