This was a first class hotel at ocean front right in the heart of Eastsound Village. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful! Would highly recommend a stay!

Wonderful place. We went off-season and it was quiet, you can go to sleep listening to the waves. Great room, super confortable, updated, and very clean. Plenty of parking, but I wish they had EV charging stations.

Had a lovely stay in one of their bay view rooms. Rooms are nicely updated with spa like bathrooms with a separate tub, a small mini kitchenette with microwave, fridge and set up with plates/cutlery. Fireplace and separate sitting area. There is also a small balcony. Comfy beds etc. all very nice and comfortable. Location is great, close to everything. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food was wonderful. I would highly recommend and hope to be back again some day.

Even though it was overcast/misty, the Outlook Inn was a great place to stay. It is situated right across from the water and walking into town was very easy and pleasant. Looking forward to a return visit!

Book directly through property third party reservations are the worst. AI doesn't have it together yet to help you do what you need. You must have breakfast there wonderful food very large portions. The variety is great. Rooms very clean and neat, I had a lovely view of the bay, they are very attentive, constantly asking if you need anything. I would always come back.

The hotel was centrally located with a great view and clean. The desk staff was friendly but the room was average and the bed wasn’t comfortable. Most things were walking distance but if you travel in October some of the restaurants and shops close during the week.

Comfortable room, first floor with our 6 mo puppy. No view, but quiet, lots of parking.

My wife and I stayed in a Water's Edge suite for our anniversary. Overall, the room was beautiful and the view is unbeatable. We were there during the most gorgeous of weather and were able to enjoy the deck many times. The property is very nice with the garden, and these suites came with an assigned parking spot (it didn't seem like parking would be hard to come by for guests without reserved spaces, though).

For over $800/night, the waterfront rooms should have more amenities or offerings. There was nothing special about this room that can't be had in a $400/night room. (Coffee maker, beverage fridge, nice shampoo, etc.) Additionally, there was water damage next to the shower and some chunks out of the drywall next to the bed. These kinds of things don't happen overnight and should be fixed if the cost is going to be so high for them.

I also had some issues with the late checkout request being charged but not communicated. This did not diminish our experience, but is worth noting.

I would book at this property again, but I would not stay in the Water's Edge suites.

visit friend on Orcas Island. would not let us have a hour extra check out and the resort wasn't even fool.

Very nice room. No ocean view but a nice view of a lovely garden.

Very helpful staff and stunning view from the bay view suites. Restaurant on property was only average but there are multiple other places to eat within easy walking distance.

We were so excited to stay at this iconic hotel but we were less than satisfied. There were some cleanliness issues in the bathroom and in the main room. We had a lightbulb out and the toilet was not working properly but both issues were corrected when reported. The TV was stream only which was not able to stream and they had trouble fixing it. Afrer awhile we just said nevermind..
I would not stay in room 8 again. It has a cool balcony but one old uncomfortable wooden bench to sit on. Lots of road noise during the day but quiet at night. There is a spotlight near the balcony which shines light in all night. They do have blinds but if you need a dark room this is a problem.
When we kindly mentioned the housekeeping issues the front desk said "I will let housekeeping know. That was it. No I'm sorry or I apologize that we did not meet your expectations. Jusy i will let housekeeping know.

We had one of the water view rooms . Room was immaculate with a fantastic view. Michael at the front desk was particularly helpful gave breakfast and dinner recommendations and expertly sorted out confusion we had with our room reservation

We had high hopes based on the pictures and website description. Nope, very deceiving and a misrepresentation of the condition of the property.

More like a refurbished motel than a luxury resort. Like others have said, the room was in an old building facing the parking lot. It was so musty that we purchased a room spray to make it habitable.

There were mosquitoes and other bugs on the ceiling and spider webs in the corners.

It’s across the street from the ocean, so don’t be misled by their offering of “waterfront” rooms. There are two rooms across the street separate from the hotel that face the water, that’s all. Who knows what condition those are in.

This was our first visit to Orcas Island, and unfortunately, based on our first impression of the island left by this smelly old hotel that describes itself as luxury, we won’t be returning. At the rates they charge, they should be ashamed of the condition of the property and deceiving guests who traveled a long way to visit.

The staff was attentive and responsive and continued to check it to make sure we were having a perfect visit. Unbeliveable view from our room and balcony. Nespresso coffee whenever we wanted. I was spoiled. It was the perfect place to come back to after exploring Orcas Island.

Fantastic quaint hotel on Orcas Island.
Stayed in a basic room that was very lovely.
Had breakfast and dinner at New Leaf Cafe.
Both meals were great.
The hotel is right near the water.
Hotel is conveniently located next to Eastsound shops and restaurants which are best on the island.
Doe inns/ hotels on Orcas this is definitely the place to stay.

Staff are really nice. We are able to use the patio area to hang out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean and tidy. The AC helped deal with the warm humid day. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. The view of the water was gorgeous
