Best location, super-fast Wi-Fi
Lift (elevator), the room that merged wet area and dray area. The room is very humid.
Perfect location. Easy walking distance to two MRT stations.a d several fascinating places to visit. Good bar and restaurant and friendly helpful staff.
A little noisy from the bar, but finished fairly early so not a big issue.
I'm staying in this place now and wouldn't recommend it.
- Mold everywhere (sink, shower, ceiling)
- Dirty surfaces (chair, floor)
- Loud at night (loud karaoke outdoors - shakes the windows)
This is a hostel at hotel prices. Was counting down the hours to leave Singapore from this experience.
The hotel is well placed next to Chinatown. The price is reasonable for Singapore. The room was really small for two people (10 to 12 m²). There was a double bed that took up more than a third of the room’s surface. Three of its sides were against a wall. Therefore, it was necessary to pass over the person who had no wall.
A quarter of the room is occupied by a bathroom and the toilets. The rest of the surface area does not allow for opening a suitcase. As soon as we need to take something from the suitcase, it must be placed on the bed, pick up what we need, close it and put it back upright on the ground.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable, but the surroundings were noisy. Indeed, there is a bar above that plays music in the evening until midnight.
In conclusion, it’s enough to sleep but nothing else.
A small "compact" room - almost everything was within reach (!) but I was only staying one night. There is a lively bar downstairs and the hotel is very close to Chinatown. We arrived early and the hotel were happy to store bags whilst we explored Chinatown and had lunch. On checkout, they were again happy to look after our bags whilst we were out and about.
Nothing comes to mind!
posizione molto buona, a 20 minuti da marina bay. Pulizie ottime, ricambio di asciugamani quotidiano.
Situation idéale pour visiter Singapour, personnel très serviable et sympathique, chambre confortable et propre.
Prix élevé mais nous étions sur la semaine du GP F1
Room appeared to be clean, however, there was black mould on ceiling, also a small hole in ceiling that dripped water, just missing bed. Had no interaction with the staff, after check in. Don't know, didnt stay long enough to go shopping. Air conditioning unit was noisy, so had to turn off until it was to warm, so then turned back on to cool room. Room was sold as a Deluxe Queen room!! There was nothing Deluxe about to room!! Small with just enough room for bed with 2 side cabinets, wardrobe space!! Consisted of a 200mm deep frame on wall that had 3 hangers in!! No where to put case to open to retrieve clothes other than putting it on the bed. Loud live music from the bar, was very evident from the room, which went on until late. My room was on the 4th floor, but lift only goes to the 3rd floor!! And safety wise, there was only 2 rooms at this level in a dead end corridor only means of escape in an emergency was down to floor 3 to fire escapes? I booked this Hotel over 6 months ago, so expected to be given a decent room!! Not the room in the attic, very disappointed with hotel and Hotels.com. are these hotels vetted or inspected??
Accommodation reflects price- very comfortable bed, hot shower and great location. There is no window, no separate bathroom, no fridge, the lighting is terrible so very dark and very thin walls.
The room was fine however if you actually want to sleep then don’t stay here- the downstairs bar has live music booming out until midnight so it was impossible to sleep.
Located in Chinatown you have easy access to main attractions in Singapore, and plenty of china-restaurants just outside the hotel.
The room was very nice for a single-traveller, though not very big. On the positive side I had my own private bathroom which I really liked.
During the evening there are some heavy noice from the Whiskey Bar below with LIVE music, but it was not a real problem for me.
Tiny room but adequate for two people.
The room was damp, belongings and bed linen were damp. The room had a mouldy smell.
We waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk when checking in. People had been waiting longer than that when we arrived, it appears they don’t pay much attention to guests. There’s a bar on the first floor and it gets very noisy at night, which is okay for people who want to drink and have their hotel room a few steps away. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want peace and quiet at night.
Good value for money, given that relative to other hotels in a similar price range, the small room was bigger than the apparent tiny alternatives. Excellent location re: access to food, attractions, transport,, unless quieter environs would be preferred.
This hotel is incredibly well located, especially if you’re interested in the cultural and historical parts of the city rather than the upscale and tall parts. We were minutes from Chinatown and its eats, shopping, and sights. We were a quick metro ride from Little India – don’t get me started on how easy and efficient Singapore’s metro system is. Our street was a color and interesting mishmash of really old buildings, temples, and some newer buildings – so many different cultures evident in the buildings and the passersby. We arrived late at night and our hotel, shockingly, was a bar – you literally check in at the backside of the bar. This sort of shabby, kind of quirky (the bird in the entrance hallway) three-room bar/restaurant proved to be one of the happeningnest spots in the whole neighborhood night after night, offering open-wall seating next to the sidewalk, a sports bar vibe in one room, a whiskey bar somewhere else, and maybe even karaoke. This ended up being a nice contrast to the capitalistic sterile vibe that characterizes much of Singpaore. I got real worried that it was going to be super loud in our room. It wasn’t at all – I think one night I could hear a distant murmur but nothing troubling – we also didn’t hear a lot of street noise. To be fair, we were the only room on the fourth floor – you take the elevator to the third and walk a up an additional stairway. The room was very small and with no windows except the ones that ran along the top of one wall – a
