Liberty Hotel Thamrin Jakarta

The Hotel is near Grand indonesia and is located in a lively area of the city. My stay was great overall with our rooms always clean when I get back from any place in the city.

The location, comfort and value of the Liberty Hotel Thamrin will see us book it again.

Most comfortable bed in Indonesia.

Excellent choice for quick business trips in Jakarta Central. Unfortunately the Wifi is not that good to be able to work.
Breakfast can be improved.
But overall, excellent value for money and great location.

Weary from over 24 hours of traveling from Los Angeles, we arrived a bit early for our check-in time. We were expecting that we had to drop off our bags and maybe make our way to somewhere nearby to await our room, we were greeted by a big smile from Albert, who was the Manager attending the lobby. He was friendly, attentive, efficient, but most of all - intuitive. Maybe it was our slumped shoulders or that we just looked wrecked from our travels, but he processed us quickly and went above and beyond and got us situated into our room for an early check-in, which is not typically offered. We were immensely thankful (Thank you, Albert)!

The rooms are clean, the staff was very attentive and accommodating, and there's a nice cafe downstairs at affordable costs (local faves such as oxtail soup) of you're feeling a bit lazy. The location was perfect for us, located in Central Jakarta right next to public transportation options and a lot of neighboring clean and safe hawker centers/food stalls for great food at amazing local prices.

Incredibly easy to travel north for history and Blok M just south of us. Big ups for supplying body lotion! We really enjoyed our stay!

Bonus Tip : Blok M is the jewel of Jakarta if your looking for trendy food, bar, and nightlife options. Here you will find bars voted on Asia's Top 50 list. Stop by Bebop, Modernhaus, Carrots, The Cocktail Club, and most of all Aftermath. Message me if you want more recs and introductions to some really rad bar folk.

The Liberty Hotel is in a really convenient location in Central Jakarta near the MRT and bus stations. Right around the corner are multiple bunches of clean and delicious food stalls at extremely reasonable prices. Take a walk around and explore all of the food in the area if you don't mind getting a little sweaty.

Checking in was smooth. Big ups to Albert (Thank you, again!) who was especially helpful! He spoke fluent English and helped us check in a little early after hearing we had such a long trip from Los Angeles. The rest of the team there was very responsive, kind, and always friendly.

Block M is just south of the adjacent river is bustling with trendy restaurants and cocktail bars.

Bonus information : Dental kits with toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided along with lotion, which is always appreciated.

The room cleanliness has declined over the years. Bedsheets and pillow covers need replacement.

Near with thamrin, grand indonesia and family mart. Staff are super helpful and very professional

The location is a few steps away from the airport train station and other public transport. Pretty much in the center.
