Obidos dream hotel
Pros:

The staff went above and beyond to assist with anything. We had an issue with our first room and within minutes they moved us to another room. The breakfast was delicious and had endless options. It was a true gem.

Tudo: A atmosfera do hotel, a cortesia dos funcionários, o café da manhã, o conforto e tamanho do quarto. Fantástico

Cons:

Não ter vaga de estacionamento, sequer uma vaga reservada para carga e descarga na frente do hotel.

We loved our stay here and highly recommend!!

The uniqueness of the hotel, the hospitality, the breakfast, the location and the ease of parking right in front of hotel

Cons:

We booked 3 rooms for 5 adults. Room 9 in the older section had a strong vinegar smell, but room was changed to the new section. The other rooms, two suits room 5 and S2 were great. S2 even had two full baths!

Pros:

Location molto originale, camera molto spaziosa, letti comodi. Favolosa la cittadina di Obidos nel centro della quale è collocata la struttura. Un po' scarso il parcheggio anche se abbiamo sempre trovato posto accanto. Ottimo il ristorante e la prima colazione con grande varietà di ogni tipo di dolci, frutti e salato.

Pros:

O Hotel é incrivel pois tem uma tematica de literatura e toda a mobilia e cenarios sao carateristicos como se estivesse dentro de uma historia. É encantador! E ainda possui um delicoso jardim no fundo. Esta muitissimo bem localizado a poucos passos da entrada de acesso a vila medieval e o cafe da manhã é simplemsnte fantastico. O quarto é muito espaçoso e me senti vivendo um conto de fadas por um dia.

The Literary Man Hotel in Obidos is a special place, offering access to a highly interesting mediaeval town, at the same time as a reprieve from the rather busy tourist visits that crowd the town during the day.
The hotel itself has an eclectic and unique range of interesting and attractive rooms, spaces, and decor, and an extremely warm and helpful front desk staff.

Cons:

Because the hotel is within a converted old world convent situated just outside the walls of an even older and hilly mediaeval town, odd angles, and different levels is part of its charm. However, the carpet that runs up the stairs in the section of the hotel where we were staying, could definitely use replacement or a shampoo… It looked pretty grubby. Also, it would've been fantastic if they could offer decaffeinated espresso
coffee in the morning:-).

Pros:

O Staff era absolutamente fantástico. A Lídia que nos recebeu quando chegámos é super querida. O Staff do restaurante e também do pequeno almoço foram muito simpáticos.
O espaço é incrível. Mais de 100000 livros por todo o lado. A minha filha adorou explorar o hotel. É um logar magico! Sem dúvida a repetir.

Pros:

Great lo action and wonderful staff. Easier to park than I imagined on yhe street and free. Breakfast was generous and tasty. And the restaurant in the hotel was good. Nice to ha r a ton of books around and lots of places to read them.

Cons:

The beds were quite hard. The water came out of the shower as the glass was not so well sealed at the bottom. The tub floor is very rounded and hard to stand on as there hardly is a flat surface; be careful you need good balance.

Do cheiro a esgoto que tem que ser resolvido se querem continuar a proporcionar estadias agradaveis. É uma pena. Também deverão substituir alcatifas e ter mais atencao à limpeza. Ter paredes forradas a livros requer um esforco redobrado. Renovar o que está velho. Apostar mais no jardim exterior enquanto o cheiro a esgoto persistir.. É uma pena. É uma ideia espetacular e a localização é excelente.

It was the perfect place for us with lots of books and a medieval castle next door.
Pros:

The hotel is in an old convent which has been beautifully renovated to leave the feel of the past with the comfort of the present. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a couch for reading. Restaurant was good with a whole library on all walls. Upstairs was a library with lots of old books and couches and tables.

Cons:

I liked everything.
