The owners make us felt at home.
The old couple who managed this are so friendly and I love their Thai style fish congee for breakfast.
Their son is also very kind.
He came during breakfast to check on our well being if we slept well for the night.
He even drove us to the bus stop where we headed for Mae klong train station.
We absolutely love this cozy & homey place : )
My wfie and I stayed at 3 hotels in Thailand. She said she likes this one the best (even though it was the least expensive). It's not on the canal though, so it's not quite as convenient for the floating market, firefly boats, and monks in the morning. We were still able to do them all though. Just not directly from the hotel... i think this place is newer, bigger, cleaner, etc so it's kind of a trade off. THere are some nice places on the canal (not by the market) that look good as well but maybe you have to speak Thai in order to find and book them. This place also has fruit trees in the back which we liked.
if you're going to Amphawa, it's a choice of you with budget accommodation.
