It was a very nice hotel. They were very short staffed so it did cause a major delay in check in and shortage at breakfast. It was not their fault, but they need to work on the rooms. My room, 303, needs the walls cleaned and the carpet fixed. My sister's room, 305, need the toilet placed down better. It was not secured to the floor very well. Her sheets were dirty on the first night. Other than that, very great stay and comfortable beds.

Cons:

Breakfast was almost non-existent on Sunday morning because no employees showed up. Apparently everyone called in except the one poor lady making breakfast and having to check us out at the front desk as well.

Pros:

We had to wait a while for a front desk person to come & get us checked in. She said she was working alone that day, and wasn’t sure if our room was ready. Cheryl was kind, personable and efficient as always, but I could sense her frustration at not being able to wait on me more quickly. The room was fine, except there were places in the shower that appeared to have mold in the corners. Breakfast was good, as always.

Pros:

Traveled to Synder to visit my son who is attending Western Texas College. Upon checking in, the hostess was not pleasant. She didn’t welcome me and not even after I gave her my Marriott Member ID. She didn’t smile or recap my stay nor shared any information about the area/good eats or things to do. The elevator motor needs to be replaced. I had to use the stairs as it didn’t feel safe using the elevator. The ice machine on the 2nd floor
is broken. The floors were dirty and need to be vacuumed. The room has an odor. Definitely not satisfied with my stay as this hotel did not meet Marriott standards.

Pros:

There was no internet, tv/cable didn’t work, there was small cockroach crawling in the shower, pool was dirty with bugs, leaves and dirt all on the bottom. Our room was by the boiler room and our beds would vibrate every so often from the boiler room. When we went to do laundry on second floor, it smelled like marijuana. Check in lady didn’t tell us when breakfast, WiFi, or checkout was

The stay was amazing. Only thing shampoo was empty but it was just a call to be replaced. This is our second time staying here and will come back again on our next trip.
