Location, helpful staff
Location was perfect. The staff super helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel is really lovely, lots of attention to detail.
Just perfect!
Nothing.
Very friendly staff, great location in Condesa
Dirty towels, thin walls
Fabulous location
The restaurant and bar was not in operation due to the Easter holidays had we have know. That we would not have booked . Also no hot water and it could not be fixed until after the holiday . Really not impressed with that
Excellent location. Quaint little room.
Sometimes a bit noisy.
The property was beautiful! The location was great, and close to many different eateries.
Only a pool would make it better!
The water in the shower was the cleanest I had in my two week Mexico trip. It was the only water in Mexico I saw that didn’t have a smell. Great location near restaurants but not as chaotic as near el centro. It was a quick walk from the metro/busses. I never needed to take a taxi. The terrace lounge and the restaurant was nice too.
It was almost three times the cost compared to the interior private hostel room in had in El Centro CDMX, but I had a lot more space in my room and the hotel was much cleaner here.
Meticulously authentic design in the heart of trendy Condessa. Just a beautiful, authentic Mexican hotel. Treat yourself to the larger suite rooms. It felt like we were renting a posh flat overlooking the park.
I heard from neighboring businesses that the owner of this hotel is not that great in a number of areas including the greed department, and you can tell on the faces of the staff. It looks like they had some turnover recently, seemed understaffed. With one receptionist in particular I could appreciate a friendlier demeanor. I also see that as a reflection of the owner. The restaurant was also a problem, way overpriced seemingly to keep up with gentrifying Condesa trends with no justification for high price point. $350 MP ($20) cocktails for what reason? The place was empty. They had very few guests during our 4 night stay And I checked the restaurant everyday. There's a reason for that, locals aren't going. They're not fooled. They also have extreme turnover and under staffing. They were unable to bring a menu within 10 minutes of setting back. This experience was a bummer as part of the draw hotel is the beautiful restaurant terrace setting looking into the trees of the park facing the hotel, and what appreciates a lively hotel restaurant and bar to come home too. My wife and I simply will not sit down in an empty restaurant, and will always wait in line at a full one. This is a common if unspoken mentality among the majority of restaurant goers. I highly recommend the owner figure out the economics of getting his pricing back to Mexico City prices, and filling up that restaurant. You can't just cater to and gouge your tourist hotel patrons. It's really sad seeing the wonderful hired musicians they have their on weekends playing to an empty room. : (
The location could not be beat and the staff were wonderful and it was very clean
The location is perfect! It's across the street from a fantastic park. It's near lots of great restaurants and downtown.
The hotel has a great roof top bar.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
