Gecko Villa & Bungalows

We booked 4 cabins and loved every part of this place the owner and staff was amazing and made sure we were happy very private and walking distance to bars and dining. If we ever go back to Lembongan we would definitely book here again

Gecko was a delight, a little aways from the hustle and bustle but close enough to comfortably walk to dive shops, restaurants and bars. The staff are super helpful and you can rent scooters directly from reception - they gave us a discounted price for the day without even having to negotiate. Good value and very relaxing. The bungalows are clean and airy, be aware if you like your room cold with AC they are a little big for the units, the rooms are cool but not cold. We had an issue with our hot water in the shower and they fixed it quickly.

The place could have been nice - but for mis-selling the Air Con - its a thatched roof with mesh for windows in parts so you cant keep the cool in and the air con is not strong enough for the bungalow. We had to move out as impossible to sleep. Also the bed sheets did not cover the bed properly and the TV had no channels and we were provided with a DVD machine and the first few DVD's we tried di not work. The owner was not there when we arrived and the staff where helpful but told us we could get breakfast lunch or dinner in the resort in front. For the entire week the resort in front was empty and closed and finding the staff was difficult. - eventually we moved out and management offered us another bungalow - but as they are all the same we doubted it would have been better. She also left another matter unresolved until the last day which showed a lack of care.

Everything was great except the air con is useless during the day and can barley cope at night

Was reluctant to review it, because I knew it would be so negative. But others need a warning. It’ll be jumbled as I have so many things to mention.

The island had a power outage on arrival... obviously out of their hands. But Sumi (a member of staff) lead us to our bungalow then walked off... didn’t mention there was no power or no water. Once the power was back, our aircon was broke. Eventually owner (over the phone) figured it was the trip circuit... we reset this. it worked. for about 2 mins. then tripped again, and continued to until we asked to move rooms the next day.
There’s no staff on site for most of the day and night.
The gardener is really friendly even though we didn’t speak the same languages.
But the real problem was Sumi, the cleaner/helper, not really sure what she was... she mostly sat on her phone by the pool. Very reluctant to help. Makes you feel like you’re inconveniencing her when ever you speak to her. Asked her about boat off the island.. quoted twice the price as we later saw down the road.. this was the only time she was “attentive” because I guess she was after some cash, but we went down the road and sorted it ourselves.
When I paid for the scooter on the last day,.. she said she had no change to give me.. I didn’t except this... so she went away and, low and behold, came back with some, but not all, said she didn’t have more. I didn’t except this either. 2 seconds later, came back with the rest. I’ve run out of space now.But there’s more

The staff and owners where very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here if your visiting Lembongan

Det var en dyr oplevelse fra starten af. Jeg bookede 2 forskellige steder (på Musa Lemnongan) hos jer og fik trukket penge fra på begge steder, samme dag! Jeg ringede og aflyste en af steder og selv om I tog min penge samme dag, sagde I at det vil tage 10 dage inden jeg fik min penge retur. Men ikke nok med det, 10 dage inden rejsen startede provede jeg mange gange at kontak jer fordi jeg skulle aflyse den sidste nat og, det var forgæves! I svarede ALDRIG på mine calls og e-mails og selfølgeligt midste vi 500kr ca.! DET ER IKKE OK!!!
Jeg følger mig snydt og vil ALDRIG MERE brug jeres "service"!!!!
Opholdet var OK, service er meget langsomt!

We had a lovely stay at Gecko. Nice pool, great staff, good location. Modern bathroom with hot shower. Very comfy bed.

4 jours à lembongan très reposant agréable mais l'île est malheureusement comme Bali très sale.

Nous y avons sejourné 3 nuits. la chambre etait tres propre tres confortable. La propriete est bien entretenue et au calme

Spent a very enjoyable week at Geckco with friends and our 7 month old son. Host Natalie is wonderfully accommodating and pleasant. Bungalows are clean, comfy and the view across the channel to Bali is second to none.
Free bikes make the trip into town a breeze (and even without the bikes, the walk is only about 10 minutes).
Would definitely stay here again.

Very new and green, quiet, nice pool, very helpfull owners for example to rent motorbike, book excursions and to get to know the surrounding.

Lille lækkert hotel, hvor der ikke var sparret på detaljerne. Rigtig søde værter. Myggespray, maskine til kolde og varme drikke, ekstra toiletpapir, shampoo osv. Drikkelsen kostede ikke ekstra end hvad man kunne købe det til i butikkerne. Har kun en stjerne, men burde have 5 stjerner.

Superfräscha rum i lugnt område. Nära stranden men den är bättre längre bort.
