Komodo Lodge

We loved the tropical ambiance of the place. The breakfast was excellent and the views from the breakfast area couldn't be beat. The rooms are overall comfortable. The bathroom was a little tight but the shower is hot and they provide shampoo. They have affordable scooter rental and wifi. We would stay here again.

A lovely clean place close to the harbour.

This was a lovely spot to spend several nights during our stay in Labuan Bajo. The staff were incredibly helpful and always happy - willing to offer assistance for anything that we had questions about.
The grounds were lovely and well kept and it felt as though we were surrounded by tropical rainforest which was exactly what we needed.

Rooms were very nice and close to the port

This is a quiet budget hotel with a nice breakfast included for travelers staying there. The staff are helpful and kind. Transportation is 500 IDR from the hotel to the airport and recommended. I recommend the hotel for travelers looking for a good clean budget hotel traveling to Flores or Komodo.

Lots of stairs, no direction to where breakfast would be served. Noisy. Nightclub nearby until midnight, mosque call to prayer early morning and then a loud church service in the morning.

Very unhappy with stay— do NOT recommend. Extremely Loud calls to prayer from nearby Mosque- not just the usually 5 ( starting very early morning) times a day but also additional prayers or information . Do not know why calls to prayer/announcements were more frequent and longer duration than experienced in other places. This is in addition to the disco music and the ( although more pleasant) early morning singing from a nearby church.

Stairs— no elevator and long flights of stairs . There are 50 stairs to get from lobby to third floor rooms.
Breakfast adequate but little more and trays were not frequently replenished

Maybe I was just unlucky but there was no complementary bottle water ( let alone the usual 2 bottles) left in room

Nice quiet and friendly place, suited us fine. Easy access to port, dive shops etc, good value.

Quirky quiet place away from main strip but walking distance to dive shops and port. A bit worn but well loved. Staff brilliant and very friendly. Regular alarm clock from local minarets! Has a small bar open twice daily and a breakfast room with nice view. Food simple but if looking for more town is nearby. We were recommended by a friend and she was not wrong. Just perfect for a low key, no frills stay.

I didn't have many problems with the property. Convenient location, good breakfast at terrace with nice view of the bay. No kettle in the room, TV didn't work but that didn't bother us.

The problem is the area, 04:30 am every morning nearby mosque blasts morning prayers from loudspeaker. In the evenings pubs around blast loud music. It's hard to get rest here but I reckon same problem with all accomodations in this area. Tourism board needs to fix the issue

Sewage smell when you take shower
We found dead cockroach in the room. Loud prayer noise from the near by mosque around 4 -5 AM. I won't stay again in this hotel. It is a 2 star hotel, not a 3 star hotel.

Great location, easy walk to harbour seafood market and shops. Staff were really nice and helpful. Would stay there again for sure.

Hôtel agréable bien situé près du port avec un personnel serviable et souriant.
Par contre la propreté de la salle de bain laisse un peu à désirer. Pas d’ascenseur et surtout très bruyant à cause de la mosquée. Toutes les nuits a 3h50 une sorte de prière lancinante qui dure une 1/2h plus l’église juxtaposée

There is a live music club right next to the hotel and music was going till midnight every night, I had ear plugs and was playing white noise fan on YouTube all night to block the noises but the music was just too loud. Also, the sliding door were not closing and there was an open gap of few centimeters, we asked for a different room which was right underneath the original, the following 2 nights we had to also listen to hammers hitting the wall as they were fixing the original room
