Location good, amenities bad. Stay elsewhere.
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Booking included deceptive photos that indicated an exterior balcony that the room didn’t have. The hotel was noisy due to the cafe downstairs until 11:30 pm. The towels were the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The bathroom fan was so loud you’re better off doing your business in the dark.

Overall you’re paying good money for a bad hotel.

Yes the staff you interact with are friendly and the building nice but the downsides are such that I can’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Pros:

We love the location, especially close to Teatro Ricardo Castro. Cool and interesting old building. Is that city really over 450 years old?

Cons:

Would have preferred King bed. Want more info about the decorations with the little cups.

Would definitely stay here again
Pros:

The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially when I got lost due to the wrong address provided by booking.com! I had been driving 9 hours and was getting cranky but I was able to speak directly with someone (wish I could remember her name) who sent a pin and greeted me with a hug when I finally did arrive. The hotel itself is elegant with high ceilings, lush towels and comfy beds. It’s smack on the pedestrian walkway which runs for a number of blocks in either direction. Many, many restaurant choices. I liked Coreleone pizza and wallender’s ( the latter is not on the walkway).

Cons:

Breakfast was uninspiring with basically only two choices and one over worked cook/waiter. Because of the open air design I could easily hear noisy guests in the lobby, even though all rooms are on the second level.
