Very expensive and no robes, no decafe coffee and cups with only powdered milk in rooms, no trash can in bathroom, view was the run down area, $65 for parking, no decafe coffee in restaurant or on ground floor at the coffee shop.

While our first time visit here was not great, whatever is happening now at Dreams Hollywood is a dramatic improvement, and we had a wonderful weekend getaway in the heart of Hollywood with our adult children. Originally this landed us at The Thompson which we also love, but it is not longer a part of the Hyatt family. This property is in a very centralized location and close to a lot of food and activities. We were here for a long weekend over Fathers Day to relax and visit our favorite restaurant Motherwolf.
This time the staff went above and beyond and has completely turned our minds around on this place. Jennelle reached out ahead of time to let us know the pool would be closed for part of the day for a World Cup party which we appreciated. Then she helped out with some room confusion, but most of all, went out of her way to make sure our needs were heard and did her best to meet them. Then we had some future booking issues that Autumn and her team went above and beyond with corporate to resolve. Every time we ordered anything to our rooms, they made sure to deliver it promptly, and when we requested robes and a fridge, they brough it up without an issue. We did not have any billing issues and overall loved it and will return. The hotel is general is a great vibe for late 20's-mid 50's. I would not say it is an ideal place for small children or babies, but it would be great for older children given its location.
The pool is small and slighly chilled, but a perfect place to hang in the afternoon before going out in the evening. We loved room 910 and are looking to come back and stay around Christmas because we had such a great time. We loved having even the small Juliette balcony as it gave us fresh air and was wonderful for people watching. As always we appreciate Hyatt for their linens, but we also appreciated that Jennelle and Autumn made sure we had blankets for me (I'm always cold), and lots of ice in our room. Their housekeeping also did an excellent job actually cleaning our room each day, swapping out sheets, emptying garbages, etc., instead of just tidying around and not really cleaning anything. This was one of the best housekeeping crews we have had at a chain property in a long time. They were wonderful!
