The hotel doesn't look as it is in the photos at all. We had the deluxe apartment, which has two rooms with double beds, a bathroom, and a kitchenette in the hall between the two rooms. The building is weird - entry is in part of a strip mall in an office that sells tours and parking is around the side of the building (a walk away).

The place was pretty clean, although we did find a suspicious dark curly hair on one of the dishes...be sure to wash before using anything.

The first night we were there we realized there is no hot water spigot (so have fun figuring that out). One of the beds broke when we laid on it (the mattress fell through to the floor on one side) and the sink in the bathroom is broken as well - the top basin part isn't attached to the pedestal, so if you rest your hand on the side of the sink it wobbles like it is going to fall to the floor.

The cost of each night is way too high for a motel style lodging. Noisy, and greasy in the room because there is a kitchenette in the room. Very greasy smell. The owner very helpful and kind. He has tours that are super inexpensive. Nice guy.

Great location near downtown Fortuna and walking distance. Parking located in back of hotel.

Absolutely loved the patio! The location was great to visit stores and restaurants. The room was cozy and comfortable. We loved being able to cook if we wanted to and the staff was amazing.

What a perfect place to stay! If visiting La Fortuna I highly recommend. The place was spacious, clean and comfortable. I loved having coffee each morning on back patio surrounded by green lush beautiful plants. Location is walking distance to restaurants and shopping square. Great hospitality.

Great location. We were able to take a short walk to breakfast,lunch and dinner. Very clean. Quiet. Our lower level room offered a back porch which we loved. Cold refrigerator. Great laundry service and due to booking online, very easy check in and check out.

Basic rooms, kitchen well equipped. At the quieter end of town but within walking distance. Could hear the man in the apartment across snoring. Not bad for the money.

Good value for money. Area was quiet and back patio was a plus. Room was musty and towels not replaced as indicated. Overall good place to stay in La Fortuna.

This is a good place to stay if you have made your own plans and speak Spanish. While I was here I was not asked if I needed help with tours and the reception has limited hours so even when I wanted to ask, no one was there. At check out I wanted to leave my suitcase and go out before I left but the language barrier prevented me from doing so. Overall, not for me and I wouldn’t recommend this accomodation.

Hotel is located in La Fortuna at the end of the main road. Quick 5 minute walk to main area. Lots of restaurants and shops. About a 30 - 40 minute drive to Arenal Volcano area. Easily accessible. Staff was amazing. Checked us in early and helped with booking our tours. Nice affordable place for a family.

The hotel gave us really good info about the area and were super helpful with all questions asked. It made our stay very easy.

The room was also spotlessly clean and comfortable. Good condition.

Very pleased with the room - more like a suite with two rooms and small kitchen. HVAC and ceiling fan to escape the heat. Small patio out back with table and chairs. Private parking. Easy walk to downtown area and driving distance to local attractions. Clean and quiet.

Wonderful stay, great location right in the middle of town, courteous and helpful staff, room was very large and comfortable, balcony too!

La Fortuna Rooms is a very budget friendly apartment-style place. Was definitely adequate, had decent amenities and clean enough but a no-frills place for sure. For the price/location it was a good deal:)

The hotel is located close to downtown and close to restaurants and shops it is close to hot pools and rooms are very nice
