Too noisy by the road
Impossible to have a good experience for dinner, waiting is too long. Also for breakfast, 40min to wait for coffee. Needs structure for staff

Hôtel très bien placé, chambre assez spacieuse et propre. Équipes vraiment très sympathique, très bien placé avec une jolie vue sur le port. Très bon buffet PDJ (Ruben et Didier) Très bon restaurant avec une bonne sélection de viandes maturés merci à Paolo pour nous avoir trouvé une table. Bar très sympa avec un bon choix de Cocktails Classiques merci à Mariana qui était vraiment au Top, très sympathique avec chaque clients. Super service voiturier (Gilberto Miguel Luis). Merci a tous!!
Salle de bain très sombre. Chambre assez basique, ameublement trop simple. Décoration n’est pas super, très simpliste. Literie pas terrible, oreillers beaucoup trop soft. Le turn Down n’était pas effectué chaque soir…
Cueca Zion, fantástica, con unas vistas muy bonitas al puerto. Hotel con todas las comodidades propias de su categoría. Merece la pena pagar por el aparcamiento, ya que el coche te lo llevan a la puerta cada vez que necesitas. El desayuno maravilloso, la terraza de arriba muy bonita, con unas vistas espectaculares al mar. La habitación es amplia y silenciosa, la cama muy cómoda. Todo está muy limpio, el personal muy atento, siempre te dejan detalles en la habitación y pasan por la tarde para ver si necesitas alguna cosa. Hotel a la altura de las expectativas y de las estrellas que ostenta.
El baño negro dificulta un poco la visión en el espejo. El spa es correcto, aunque bastante pequeñito. Como extra esta bien pero no lo destacaría dentro de lo que ofrece el hotel.
The staff were excellent, breakfast very good, lovely view from whale watching bar with excellent light meals. Sea view room with balcony. Good location overlooking harbour and easy walking distance to town.
Spa is disappointedly limited and small. Hotel appears expensive compared to similar adjacent hotels.

Uma especial atenção ao funcionário Rodrigo, que sempre foi muito caloroso e atencioso. Sem dúvida que terá um futuro risonho na hotelaria.
O quarto que nos foi atribuído tinha duas camas de solteiro e fizemos a reserva para uma cama de casal, mas rapidamente foi resolvido.

the stuff, kind people. the bar on the 7th floor, the shower, the port view from the room.
the food, every day the same. no vegetables, a lot of time waiting for orders. very dark in the shower.
The food was the best part.
The property itself felt rather disappointing definitely not a 5 star. If you like cookie cutter corporate feeling hotels than you’ll be happy. If you like firm beds then it’s for you. However, if you want to feel like you’re at a luxury 5 star property this place isn’t for you. The front desk staff seemed to have a chip on their shoulders. I was supposed to stay longer but asked to check out after one night.
Octant Hotel (formerly Azor Hotel) is simply wonderful!
An excellent location in the heart of Ponta Delgada.
The rooms are beautifully designed, very comfortable, elegant, and fully equipped.
The level of pampering is above and beyond, including frequent and complimentary refilling of the minibar.
The view of Ponta Delgada’s promenade and marina is breathtaking.
The hotel offers both an outdoor and indoor pool, a luxurious spa, and a rooftop with a fantastic view.
The breakfast and dinner are extremely rich, indulgent, and generous.
Most importantly, the staff is absolutely amazing. They assisted us with everything — planning our trips, making us feel pampered, and taking care of every detail of our stay, both big and small.
We would especially like to mention Solange from reception and Rodrigo, together with many others, who devoted a great deal of time, professionalism, and genuine attention to carefully planning our tours around the island, adapting them to the constantly changing weather.
The hotel, its facilities, and its staff were among the key reasons why our vacation was such a success and so enjoyable.
We very warmly recommend staying at this specific hotel when visiting the Azores, especially as a base for day trips around the island.
