Shane's Paradox experience
Pros:

I loved the food, the room was very comfortable, the staff were well mannered and the balcony was amazing.

Cons:

I was disappointed that the pool wasn't in working order and that the bath wasn't a spa bath as it was supposed to be in the description. I was really looking forward to being able to go for a swim but was unable to.

Sleepless in Vancouver
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location and is decorated and fitted to high level

Cons:

How can this be a hotel when on the weekend the swimming pool turns into a nightclub which generates high volume of drum and bass that frankly vibrates through your bones so sleep becomes impossible!!!!!!

Poor service
Pros:

Fairly good rooms

Cons:

Rooms air con not working one minute our room was red hot the next it was like an ice bucket called maintenance twice but wasn’t mended
Travelling from UK so awake during the night no room service so couldn’t get a coffee. Staff not bothered when mentioned both issues went over their heads. No pool area but hotel didn’t inform us until we got there. Price was expensive for a poor service

Comfortable bed, quiet, spacious Paradox Signature King Room and great location.
Pros:

The check in staff, Saksam was lovely and helpful. The room was beautiful, we were in the Paradox signature King Room with a balcony. It also has a bath. Very nice with lots of light into the room. We enjoyed it so much we decided to cancel another accommodation we booked and booked a room for our last few days before we head back to Melbourne. Also great location.

Cons:

Not much not to like.
