Staycation
Pros:

The four of us stayed at Paradox for a one night staycation on December 29. We were booked into a executive one bedroom suite. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room was incredible, easily one of the best hotel rooms in Vancouver. It was spacious, clean, and full of natural light thanks to the large windows. I’ll be staying in the same room again in March and am very much looking forward to it.

My new favourite Vancouver hotel
Pros:

I think this hotel has successfully shaken the specter of its former Trump Hotel incarnation. Spent a total of 4 nights here and would definitely come back.

Rooms were spacious with plenty of closet space. Beds were ultra plush and comfy. And there was a nice desk for a work station. Also… loved the turndown service. Such a nice touch that elevated the whole experience.

Also, great location that’s walking distance to everything you’d want in the West End.

Special shoutout to Saksham at front desk who remembered me by name and always welcomed me with the biggest smile. Made me feel truly welcome and thought of as a guest.

Family vacation
Pros:

The staff were amazing, helpful professionals. We enjoyed our stay, and the view from our suite is beautiful. The only downside is that housekeeping needs to do better in cleaning and vacuuming the floors

The best of the best
Pros:

I really enjoyed staying in Paradox. Even thought I did not have to interact with the staff a lot as I was very busy, I felt the energy being really warm and felt very welcome. Everything was more than perfect!

Best stay in Vancouver!

We had a wonderful stay at the Paradox Hotel Vancouver. The room was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view of Downtown Vancouver. A special thank-you to Sakhsham for his exceptional service, he was warm, attentive, and went out of his way to make our experience special.

Stunning City Views
Pros:

Top notch beautiful hotel with beautiful views of the Vancouver city scape. The hotel is located near all of the happenings, from shops to restaurants and public transportation. The staff is so nice and welcoming I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros:

Amazing location, friendly and accommodating staff and gorgeous rooms and property. Bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable and love the automated blinds and drapery. Bathroom, with double vanity had plenty counter/storage space and appreciated the separated water closet.

An amazing experience
Pros:

Love staying here! The whole staff is so attentive and makes you feel special. Melissa specifically listened and helped us with finding spots for food, shopping, drinks, whatever we were wanting to do. This is and will always be where I choose to stay when I come to Vancouver. I also love that they have heated bathroom floors!!!

Amazing!
Pros:

Paradox Hotel is an amazing property~ we absolutely loved our stay. Our room was beautiful and featured a huge balcony, which made it even more enjoyable. The service was impeccable throughout, and the location couldn’t be better: close to great restaurants, shops, and everything we needed.

The food at the hotel restaurant was outstanding, and the staff were just as impressive. We couldn’t have picked a better place to spend the week. Highly recommend!

Pros:

It was wonderful!!! All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Danielle at the front desk and Marty at the front door bellman, to name just a few. Room service was excellent all the staff very efficient and Karma Lounge staff as well. We had a great stay thank you.

Would come back 100%
Pros:

Me and my man felt very welcomed when we first arrived! They made our stay very special and lived up to all our special requests! One thing is we had poop on the balcony but we didn’t know until we left. I think it’s because it is a dog friendly hotel. We loved the breakfast and the special dessert that they brought for us for our anniversary. The tv you have to pay to watch but it comes with live channels - the iPad did not work for us as we were unable to sign in or anything. Other than that we want to come back for our birthdays!

Disappointing
Pros:

Ive read so many glowing five star reviews that I was excited to stay here rather than my more usual spot.
Ive left after a 5 night staying feeling meh...for an expensive "luxury" hotel its completely soulless.
There are some good aspects to be sure..rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Having no fresh air at all makes for a poor night sleep and drapes that can only be fully open or shut dont allow you to sit and look out of the windows without the whole room on display.
The gym is good and the flex room would be great if the lululemon mirror training system didn't freeze every few minutes.
I had hoped to swim lots but the very strange pool ( in the nightclub) is tiny, shallow and no real use for laps .
What i missed most were friendly greetings ( or indeed any) from staff and a place to be able to sit with a coffee smd chill. The karma Lounge is loud, busy and a place to see and be seen not a place to relax.

We Love the Paradox!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Paradox Hotel June’2025.
This is one of many reviews because he and I were talking about Vancouver, BC. The Paradox made our memories unforgettable! Vancouver is beautiful but The Paradox was incredible!!! Everyone at the hotel treated us like Royals! It was my husband’s 58th Birthday…June 25th & Our 31 Wedding Anniversary and we were upgraded to a gorgeous Suite with other amazing surprises 🥰 The Karma staff A+ and Restaurant food was delicious!
Paradox, Vancouver my husband and I will never forget your outstanding service! We hope one day to visit again!

Love this hotel
Pros:

It was great. Room Is modern and new. We were upgraded which was nice. Service was good. The only thing I would suggest to make the experience better is to enable Chromecast for your TV so that we could watch our Netflix etc on it.
