Just lovely - will definitely return for a longer stay!
Pros:

A true gem of a 20-room boutique hotel, right in the heart of historic downtown Natchitoches. Walking distance to everything--shops, restaurants, etc. The room was well-appointed with REAL furniture which matched the historic vibe of the oldest city in Louisiana. Bed was extra comfy, and our view was the gorgeous Basilica behind the building. We were headed home from a wedding and stopped there to break up our long drive--my sister-in-law and her husband had stopped there 4 nights prior when on their way TO the same wedding, and highly recommended it. We vow to return for a longer romantic weekend getaway soon! Staff were quite friendly and helpful, and they treated each other like family--in the good way! Breakfast was traditional and included all the basics--nothing fancy, but served in a sweet little dining room. It's a $10 charge to park in their secure lot, but there was plenty available street parking, and the area around the hotel is the safest I've felt in YEARS. If you want an old fashioned bed & breakfast experience without feeling put on the spot or giving up your privacy, this is the PERFECT place to stay.

Cons:

Something slightly more special for breakfast - everything tasted good and was beautifully displayed, but in lieu of prepackaged muffins, maybe something freshly baked, i.e., cinnamon rolls or pancakes, or maybe a good old hashbrown casserole? Or maybe tortillas/cheese/salsa for the scrambled eggs? Maybe even a signature (or fruit?) version of the meat pies the city is famous for? Just a little something more memorable would have turned a 9.5 stay into a 10+ stay.

Amazing staff and location!!
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and make you feel like family. Located right off Historic Front Street which makes it easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Overall my wife and I had an amazing experience at the Church Street Inn.

Cons:

There really wasn’t anything we disliked about the Church Street Inn.

Good location, friendly staff, nice rooms, decent breakfast
Pros:

Hotel is in the middle of the historic district. Staff are friendly, and rooms are tastefully decorated. There are hot breakfast options (eggs, sausages, biscuit and gravy) available.

Cons:

Parking in the hotel compound isn't free (but you can park on the street, which is free)

Considering the town options, it was a nice change of locations we've stayed at in Natchitoches.
Pros:

For the most part, the hotel was fine...front desk attendant was very friendly and nice. Room was spacious & BR ok. Location was good except for ridiculous traffic at the intersection taking us over 30 minutes to get back to hotel after making a block. Breakfast was good....awesome biscuits & gravy. Could've used some cut fresh fruit though.

Cons:

Pulling up we were unsure how to park/unload as we didn't get a code in advance. Checking in was fine, but once in room, had to crank AC to cool it down which took a while, and only after my tall husband adjusted the flaps. There were NO hangers in the closet, had to go down to get some, there was a large wall mirror just sitting on a a round table I simply placed on the floor, but there were NO chairs for said table, seemed odd like they were missing. Bed was comfortable, but sheets were too small and didn't stay on, the duvet cover had numerous holes on top you could see. The night stand on right side had plug issues...it was a complete fire hazard as it was removed from the wall hanging there, but had several items plugged into it I removed that we didn't need. That's when I noticed how dirty/dusty it was all around the lamps, headboard/footboard and side rails. Dealing with allergies, that many dust bunnies is unacceptable. Especially since had to wet a wash cloth to clean it myself and from amount of dust picked up, areas hadn't been touched in a while. Later that night after returning from dinner, had TV issues where it wouldn't work. Tried phone to call down, but it said voice mail was full, so had to use my phone to call down. The receptionist was great and came up to fix it, but that's when I realized there would be no one on property after 10:00 pm so if there is an emergency, you're on your own. In addition, paying extra $10 for gated parking seemed redundant when the property had an open entry to the parking lot and was not completely gated. For $250/night too many issues.

This is a good value for the location and the convenience of a quick breakfast on site.
Pros:

I love the location. It was walking distance to great restaurants, the river, and other downtown attractions.

Cons:

I don’t think the room and breakfast were as good as what was described. The breakfast was cold and offered the exact same foods both days. No variety. And the room was small with the two queens, a desk, and a chair.

Honestly, loved everything about it.
Pros:

Location. Comfortable. Pretty.

Cons:

Walls kind of thin, so you could hear voices in next room. Can’t fix that issue, but had sound machine, so this was not a problem.

Everything!! All the staff were so helpful and friendly, from the two ladies working the front desk, the house keeper and the lady overlooking the breakfast area. Would highly recommend.
