Alma House

When I arrived nobody was at reception or anywhere. I selected my own my room after 10 minutes of trying to find someone. Lights constantly flickered, no drinking water, no towel, no soap. Breakfast was disgusting and they only take cash payment. Which was not written anywhere.

It's okay for the price

Stayed with my wife and 3 kids in a family room. Hotel is small but well furnished, great AC to keep cool, and clean bathrooms. Generally better than the impression the photos give! Unfortunately broken shower (electrical fault) and broken wifi while we were there, but this is generally unsurprising for us in Ghana. Staff were really kind to my youngest son who had bad earache overnight, and were happy to head out and get us medicine and water bottles. They arranged a reasonable airport transfer van which was on-time and reliable. Overall good value and we had a great night's sleep in comfy beds. Breakfast options a little limited, but there are pancake, cupcake, yoghurt bar places less than a hundred yards down the road, as well as an Italian and Turkish restaurants.

Excellent service. The staff go out of their way for you. The main downside was that breakfast was included but could take 2 hours. Somedays i didn't get it until lunchtime. Also, quite often it was just bread and cheese spread.

Ok

There was no car to pick me and felt stranded at the airport having alerted the property in advance for that service. There was no toilet roll, soap and towel after arriving in a taxi at the property at 10pm. Having consulted the staff on 3 different times for the above, toilet roll and soap were brought in 45 minutes time. I asked about the towel and l was told it had now been washed and it would be ready later on. The time was 11pm. I could not wait anymore, so l used my pyjamas trouser as a towel after showering. I do not recommend anyone to go there but to find a suitable hotel. I checked in on the 26/02/20 and checked out on the 27/02/20.

WIFI NOT CONSISTENT, NOT ENOUGH TOWELS AVAILABLE IN A TIMELY FASHION, LACK OF BED SHEETS AND MATTRESSES CONDITION QUESTIONABLE.

Its a great place, nice customer service and place

Staff was welcoming. Warm and professional, The property had a home away from from atomosphere. It felt like you were just going home. Breakfast was included and brought to your room each morning at what every time your requested , between a certain time window. Bathrooms were very clean. Hotel was gated there’s was security at the gate and parking. Places to eat around the hotel. Or not far away. I will stay here again. Prices of the hotel was great. Loved my stay

Alma is a Home away from home

This is my second time staying here (last was Feb 2017) and it lived up to my expectations! Rooms are nice, bathrooms have everything you need and I can tell they are renovating some to make more modern too. Wifi is also great. The neighborhood is developing also and theres a new lounge about 3 doors down from Alma now (I recommend!). I stayed 3 times over a 3 week time and each time they were readily availabl I accomodate my day-ahead booking. My only suggestions are to have better ways to contact the night guard if we come in late so we dont have to keep knocking on the gate and also maybe more breakfast variety (fresh juice was yummy!). I look forwad to my future stays!

Alma house is really nice with clean, comfortable rooms and very good beds. The location was perfect. Close to oxford street but still on a nice quiet street.

Its fairly good hotel but during my stay internet access was not available. Cloth hangers was not provided in the room, even after my requests.
They offered airport pick and drop, which was good.
