J y retournerai sans hésiter en réservant une chambre plus moderne
Pros:

L’emplacement au bout de la plus belle plage de l’île est idéal . Baignade à marée haute ou basse très agréable. Beau sable fin et arbres . Plage calme longées par quelques resorts . Et la piscine très jolie avec vue sur les étoiles ou la baie : au choix !

Cons:

Les chambres n’ont pas toutes le même niveau de modernité. La mienne était un peu vieillotte mais tout de même confortable et pour un excellent prix .

Mauvaise literie
Personnel à l accueil exécrable, impoli, c est insultant la façon dont cette jeune femme nous a parlé . Surtout en Thaïlande ou les gens sont réputés pour leur gentillesse. Ma femme est Thaïlandaise et elle aussi a trouvé ce comportement hors normes . J en ai informé le management par mail.
Transats de la piscine sont réservés avant 7.00 du matin par des clients alors qu ils ne viennent qu en fin de matinée . Comportement de touristes égoïstes qui ne semble aucunement gêner le personnel qui accepte cette façon de faire . C est plutôt honteux des gens pareils .

Salle de bain pas terrible, lavabo branlant et de travers, pas de plan de travail pour poser les affaires de toilette et pas de séparation pour la douche, sol trempé après chaque douche...

Aussergewöhnlich tolle Anlage mit hervorragender Lage mit privat Strand und privater Klippe mit Aussicht zu Sonnenuntergängen. Das Personal überaus professionell. Strand Villa top. Ich hatte den schönsten Aufenthalt hier. Frühstück auch sehr gut. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Nur das Bett war zu hart. Wie ein Brett 🥹

Endroit magnifique et très reposant pour un séjour au calme
Pros:

Emplacement au calme et beaucoup d’espace extérieur, chambres confortables, cadre magnifique et personnel très agréable.

Cons:

Je logeais dans le grand bâtiment à deux étages et le chambres étaient mal insonorisées. Mais ça ne m’a pas empêchée de passer un excellent séjour!

Хороший и очень красивый отель. Шикарный и чистый бассейн. Максимально дружелюбный, вежливый и учтивый персонал. Хороший ресторан, выбор блюд минимальный. В номерах хорошо. Кто переживает за номера на склоне, не страшно, не тяжело. Море хорошее, пляж средний, лежаков маловато. Локация лучшая на острове.

Тихий и удобный пляж. В основном отдыхали пенсионеры. Удобный вход в море, камней нет. Лежаков хватает всем несмотря на новогодние праздники. Хорошие и разнообразные завтраки

OTTIMO resort in una bellissima baia!!
Pros:

E' stato tutto perfetto!
Il resort è in un'ottima posizione, con due passi a piedi si raggiungono ristorantini e market sulla strada. Fuori dal caos e con un a vista stupenda!
Piscina: pulita e molto carina anche se noi l'abbiamo sfruttata poco.
Colazione: sempre fornita di ogni tipo di cibo dal salato al dolce, anche se di dolce non c'è tantissimo, del resto in tutta l'asia la colazione è salata! Comunque ottima e la sala è in una posizione splendida in cui si vede tutta la baia!
Camere: noi avevamo una DELUXE e devo dire che era ampia, con terrazzo vista mare e anche il bagno grandissimo. molto soddisfatti della scelta!!
SPIAGGIA: la spiaggia di Klong Prao è lunghissima, ottima per passeggiate, va dai chai chet fino al promontorio di Kai be... quella davanti al resort offre anche molte zone d'ombra, lettini a volontà, doccia e bagni anche vicino.
Mare: non è limpidissimo ma pulito e acqua molto calda nel mese di gennaio. il resort arriva fino alla scogliera dove c'è una passerella che arriva proprio in mare.
Noi ci siamo trovati benissimo e dopo aver fatto i primi 4 giorni e visitato altri resort a lonely beach, abbiamo deciso di prolungare il soggiorno di altri 4 giorni.
ottima scelta che consigliamo a chi vuole tranquillità e relax con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

A versatile resort set amid diverse and beautiful scenery on the paradise island of Koh Chang
Pros:

I had a wonderful 12-night stay at this charming resort. The property is large and beautifully designed, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere throughout. There is a stunning, quiet beach with soft, clean sand partly shaded by trees. Behind it rise the island’s dramatic green jungle-covered mountains, while on the other side of the resort you’ll find rocky shoreline, lush vegetation, and a true tropical jungle feel. The surroundings are diverse and absolutely beautiful.

I stayed in a hillside room, and from up there I could see the sea through the lush green trees. I was surrounded by jungle views and the natural sounds of the forest. The room was peaceful and I slept very well—although occasionally the geckos and birds added their own soundtrack to the night. For me, that only added to the tropical atmosphere.

The resort is spacious yet easy to navigate on foot; nothing is far away. There was always a sense of calm and plenty of space. The swimming pool is lovely and well maintained, but it is the only area that tends to get crowded, and finding a sunbed there can be challenging at times.

The staff were friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. I received excellent service from everyone. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. It was tasty and varied, with different warm dishes offered daily throughout the week. There were also small sweet treats and delicious fresh fruits. Everything was fresh, and cleanliness was clearly taken seriously. The view from the restaurant is spectacular—having breakfast while looking out over the sea was a true pleasure.

There were always sunbeds available on the beach, and it was often very quiet there. Thankfully, there were plenty of options both in the shade and in the sun. I appreciated the housekeeping system: cleaning was provided when you left your room key at reception, which was convenient and practical.

Cons:

My hillside room was older and has not been significantly renovated, so if you are looking for a brand-new, trendy, or modern luxury hotel, this may not be the right choice for you. The charm here is more natural and relaxed rather than polished and contemporary.

The beautiful jungle views and peaceful setting do come with a practical downside: there are quite a few stairs to reach the hillside rooms. For me this was not a problem, but it is worth noting for anyone with mobility concerns or who prefers easy access.

The lush, jungle-like environment also means you truly experience the jungle atmosphere—which may not appeal to everyone. My room had several small geckos. They did not bother me at all; they are harmless and actually help by eating mosquitoes. However, their presence could be uncomfortable for some guests. On one occasion, I was also greeted by a monkey sitting on the railing outside my room. Personally, I prefer to keep my distance from monkeys.

None of these things disturbed me or negatively affected my stay, but they may be considered drawbacks by some travelers.

I did not experience anything that I would consider truly negative about the resort itself. However, without a major renovation, a few small improvements could make the room even more comfortable. The mosquito net on the bathroom window was quite loose at the corners, which likely allowed geckos to enter. Securing it properly would probably reduce the number of small creatures inside. The stool in the room and the safety box were also somewhat worn and perhaps reaching the end of their lifespan. Replacing them would add a bit more convenience and comfort—but these are minor observations rather than serious complaints.

Overall, these points are simply practical notes for future guests rather than real criticisms.

Beautiful location but challenging resort for elderly people like us.
Pros:

The location was very good and we had a lovely view from our grand villa with sea both sides.
Lovely swimming pool. Nice beach nearby with shady hotel loungers . Sea nice depth and warm.
Evening meals enjoyable. Special thanks to waitress called Lin.

Cons:

The air conditioning in our room was very noisy and bed very firm. The loungers by the pool were taken by 7.30 am and little shade as umbrellas were in fixed positions. Guests drinking beer in glass bottles in pool. Many steps everywhere with no hand rails for elderly or disabled people. Breakfast lacked choice and quality.
