Great place

Arrived at what looked like a lovely resort after an 8 hours journey to get there from Cambodia,no welcome really,seemed as though we were disturbing them ..given the key and the room pointed to,no help with cases,opened the door,think my chin hit the floor,it looked grubby and it really is,& for £40 a night compared to what we have stayed in on our travels,not even worth £5!!,I’d question putting my dog in here..curtains mouldy and hanging off,bedding looked like it was my dogs,bathroom old and smelly,furniture old and decrepit,I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I stayed a month, and enjoyed the calm atmosphere, Klong Prao beach can be reached in 5 min. The staff and management is friendly and laid back

All in all great value, and the cosy garden creates a nice atmosphere

Truly under Any standards. Dirty rooms, mold smells to high heaven, holes in bedsheets, cockroaches, filthy swimming pool. If you pay anything for this place they'll get away with murder. Owner is rude as hell. No respect for paying customers.
And the list goes on and on...
Just don't go!

We stay here tree nights with Family and friends! The staff is great and helpful! Hotel is basic But I think with two kids It was cheap and nice! Beach is Very near But also pool was nice! We didn’t test a sauna and that’s a shame but maybe next time!
Can recommend this hotel!

Our room was very spacious and clean (VIP family room) there was a double bed, single bed and sofa bed. There was also a large balcony.

The swimming pool is good and a decent size, with a small pool bar.

The restaurant (as I understood) served food until 3pm. During our stay they also started serving a choice of two evening meals between certain times. We never ate there, so there is not much more I can say.

All in all excellent value for money and we would stay again.

stayed here for 2 weeks while staying on ko chang thought it was good value for money ! nice swimming pool clean rooms with air con would stay again, we hired a motorbike from the resort. good location to get around the island and discover the great beaches.

Its ok when you dont need anything special. Room was simple quite clean- nothing more.

Location is ok. There is some good musik bars and food restaurant oposite on near to hotel..

Stayed here for two nights when we arrived on the island with no where to stay and many places were fully booked. Ok location, 10 minute walk to the lovely Khao Prao beach, decent sized swimming pool, air con in all rooms but it's a bit dated, no atmosphere whatsoever. Should have been better for the price. Moved to another place for our third and final night.

Excellent location for exploring the island
Clean room and clean linen. Ok bed (seems to varie room to room).
Ac and fridge.
A bit dated but prices are very reasonable
Pool just got updated and fixed.

You can rent scooter from the hotel.
Super friendly staff and owners.
Didnt try the food, but excellent restaurant across the street.
Close to 7/11 and Kai Bae walking street.

Will stay here again on next trip to Koh Chang.

We were only going to stay 2 nights here, but stayed the rest of our Thailand trip. Place is easily the best value on the island, The staff, Ossi, Kook and Sam help you with anything you need. The pool is amazing, big and clean. There is a variety of rooms, from budget to family deluxe. The location is great, short walk to 7/11, restaurants, bars etc,, beach not too far either. Very safe resort and area and they have heaps of motorbikes at better rates than other places. We will be staying here again when we return to Koh Chang. Matt

Never more... This place is very old and dirty. Bed is the worst thing in the world and food is horrible too. Only wifi is good. Beach is far away. We spend here only 1 night and very quickly run away.

But could be cheaper easily. If you compare to other hotels around the island. But that's ok, I had a good time there.

I was planning on staying for few nights but ended up staying for 2 weeks. Great staff, great service and nice pool! And good bang for the buck! Nice, safe and quiet location right off the main road. 600m walk to Klong Prao beach. You can rent motorbikes and guys can hook you up with diving, fishing trips and trips to local islands or wherever. Local waterfalls was really nice as well!

This hotel is in a brilliant location to get around the island. It's clean enough but the room we had was very dated. Didn't look like I expected from the pictures. This resort was very over priced for what it had to offer! The breakfast is not pleasant either. However the staff were all very lovely and it was a good base as the location is brilliant. If I ever return to Koh Chang I wouldn't stay here again.

Spent 2 nights here with my family. Rooms were not fancy but clean and it somehow reminded me ordinary Thai household. I was little disappointed that the sauna was closed without any prior notice. Breakfast was better than my expectation. Compared to the price, Sofia Garden resort is clean and cozy place, perfect for backpackers.

Managed by finnish in a very good position not far from the sea. I spent here a very pleasant month using every day the nice swimming pool I felt being in a familiar place. The rooms are ok and kept cleaned.

Budjettiloma - hintalaatusuhde kohdallaan. Hyvä aamiainen, siistit huoneet (joka päivä siivous), siisti uima-allas - myös sauna löytyy, mukava avulias henkilökunta, suomalainen omistaja. Good stay for a reasonable price, good pool, very clean rooms and helpful friendly stuff. You can rent a motorbike and easily go everywhere, or by taxi, what is quite cheap. The beach is just 10 minutes walk away, with several good restaurants and beachbars.

I booked for 3 nights, but decided to stay 3 weeks. The surrounding garden area is beautiful, rooms are cosy and clean. The best part is the service minded staff and the overall atmosphere. Close to the beach ( 10 min walk) and all the possible service needed (restaurants, shops etc.) are just around the corner. Highly recommended to those who appreciate beautiful, peaceful stay. And a big swimming pool.
