Enjoyable would stay again.
Pros:

There was an issue with our room on arrival but the staff dealt with this immediately.
Breakfast was very good and also the evening meal in the restaurant.

Nice place
Pros:

Food in the restaurant was very nice. Bedroom and bathroom very clean. Staff at desk were fine.

Cons:

Staff at reception desk they laughed on where I came from and I am only 16 miles away but after I told them taxi prices they were shocked. Bed was small feet were hanging out the bed. Side lamps didnt work

Pros:

The staff were very welcoming and friendly to my dog, in fact some of the staff had told other staff about a big white shaggy dog and I had members of staff wanting to pet her in the morning.

Cons:

My dog was unsure of the revolving entrance door but there was another door I was able to use.

I arrived very late, the night porter was a credit to the hotel, friendly and helpful.

6.30 breakfast start was perfect as I had an early start.

An excellent traditional Scottish hotel
Pros:

Fantastic value for money, comfortable, convenient location, lovely food, friendly staff. I’m sure I’ll stay again.

Cons:

Wasn’t keen on the tea served in mugs at breakfast, but that’s my only quibble!

A nice break in a remote location. Watching the breaking waves could become a habit!

Comfortable and friendly staff
Pros:

Location was perfect and all staff were really friendly and helpful in arranging an early check in. Hotel is a bit dated in parts but overall it fits the bill.

Cons:

Noise levels in my room were not the best, walls seemed paper thin as I could hear full conversations from adjoining room, I also had a continual running water noise which kept me awake the bulk of the night. There is no car park for the hotel so reliant on parking in nearby street which for me wasn't an issue but can imagine those with mobility difficulties it could be problematic.

Ok place to stay in Thurso but needs updating
Pros:

Staff were welcoming. Bar area was very nice. Was offered a choice of available rooms when our one was road facing.

Cons:

Room was dated. Tiny shower. On the road so noisy. Water dripping somewhere at night. Odd coloured bedding.
All floors creaked. Breakfast wasn’t great.

Zentrales Hotel - ok für eine Nacht
Pros:

Gutes Frühstück, Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel, gutes Abendessen. Gute zentrale Lage.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr dreckig (Boden und Bad), der Abfallkübel im Bad war bereits bei Ankunft voll von den Vorgängern.
