Pros:

Établissement suranné et agréable. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Doté d'un restaurant, ce qui est très pratique quand on est itinérant. Confortable, excellente literie, calme, les équipements sont un peu datés. Le petit-déjeuner inclus est excellent et abondant.

Cons:

Service très moyen. Service interminable au restaurant, nous avons dû relancer 2 fois les serveuses qui nous avaient oubliées alors que nous avions réservé. Plats surgelés médiocres, au-delà de son aspect pratique, il est préférable de dîner à l'extérieur.

Average meal with below average service
Pros:

Had a meal with family . Service from male wait staff was abysmal. No interaction unless requested. Had ordered a garlic and herb sauce with steak , and had to ask for it twice. Family member had eaten majority of steak while waiting for sauce to arrive. Then attended to by waitress Hollie , who was very attentive and interacted well with the group. She certainly could teach the male wait staff how to serve tables

Adequate room with some drawbacks. Would not stay here if there are other options
Pros:

Location was good. Room was reasonably comfortable and mostly clean.

Cons:

When we checked in and got to our room, the toilet had feces in it. It obviously wan't cleaned well.

Not acceptable.
Pros:

Hotel has an average interior but no lift so heavy bags need to be carried up the stairs. We stayed for one night. The management agreed to a live music party in the large room below the bedrooms. No sleep till 01:00 hrs. The radiator was on full heat with the radiator thermostat broken. I did complain but nothing done. Breakfast pots from previous guests left on the tables all the time we had our breakfast. Staff were polite enough, just not enough of them.

Good rooms, best breakfast ever
Pros:

The location is just great. This is an old building, but its well maintained. The rooms are big, clean and tidy. The bedding provided was okey.
The best thing about the hotel was the brekfast. The serve a full english /Scottish brekfast, and it was perhaps one of the best brekfast we have ever had.
Jus make sure you go for breakfast before the tour bus crowds crowd the breakfast room.

Cons:

The hotel says it has parking. There is no parking. You will be casually asked to park on street, infront and around the hotel. Thankfully it was easy to get parking on the street in front of the hotel and you dont have to pay if you parak between 6 pm and 9 am.
The hotel staff could be a bit more warm and friendly, especially the reception staff.
