Nice but could use some love
Pros:

Nice staff, cute cabins, many amenities. Good location close to beach club, breakfast included nice. Many staff take good care of site, they rake the grounds every morning. Close contact with the reception who text you to ask for your needs, e.g. cleaning service. I'd say good for what you pay, just don't expect a new, modern accomodation. Instead, more laidback, cute, and family oriented.

Cons:

Cabins felt a bit old, cabin 5 had a slight mold scent, caution for any scorpions and other insects in the bathroom. Pools contained a lot of chlorine and can use some white paint (my bikini changed colors). Perhaps more of a family accomodation (we are a couple). Beach club could use some love, e.g. raking the beach like the neighbours in the morning, washing the seating pillows (btw same for the pool), or even replacing some pillows as they were sometimes damaged. Breakfast times only start from 8.30, which is late. Imo more OK if there is, e.g. an option of breakfast to go or something else.

Die Anlage

Cons:

Das Frühstück war immer das gleiche mit 3 x kleiner Auswahl.
Ansonsten musste man gegen Extragebphr dazubuchen. 3 Mahlzeiten zur Auswahl.
Es war schlichtweg nicht ausreichend

Super nettes Personal - hatte meinen Rucksack vergessen. Man hat ihn sogar zur Fähre gebracht - vielen lieben Dank! Sehr schöne Anlage - wir haben spontan einen Tag verlängert.

Appartement plutôt spacieux

Nous avons eu une chambre au rdc en arrivant qui était beaucoup plus petite que sur le descriptif car elle comprenait la terrasse... du coup la chambre commune était très petite.
Nous avons dit la remarque au personnel qui nous a changé de chambre le lendemain et effectivement elle était beaucoup plus grande...

Paradijsje in het paradijs!
Pros:

Een paradijsje in het paradijs! Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Supervriendelijke medewerkers, mooi, ruim en schoon appartement. Fijn zwembad met fijne bedjes met kussens. Rustige ligging, maar snel in het centrum. Bij het hotel liggen ook verscheidene restaurants. Beachclub Carolinda is heel fijn!

Cons:

Douche was warm en had een goede straal, maar stond onhandig afgesteld.

Great stay, excellent choice for a family
Pros:

Friendly reception staff, good location away from the centre of town. Beautiful grounds, handy beach access at Carolinda.

Pros:

Prachtig aangelegd resort met hele mooie tuin en ruim zwembad. Mooie rooftop om te chillen. Enkele restaurants/bars heel dichtbij. Strand en zee ook heel dichtbij. Goed bed. Heel fijn terras met privacy. Behulpzaam personeel bij receptie.

Cons:

Geen wasrek of waslijn. Terrasstoelen niet zo comfortabel. Keuken was erg simpel gezien de prijs. Geen föhn. Ontbijt was karig; tegen bijbetaling bijbestellen. Geen WiFi in appartement en terras (nr 13), dat was echt onhandig. Geen bezem. Geen fietsen (kan je vlakbij huren).

Such a beautiful property! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the grounds. Lovely breakfast. So very peaceful all around. My two teen kiddos enjoyed our stay here too. We all felt safe and the room was comfortable. Short walk to the beach and it was fun to rent bikes nearby. Also, a little market across the street to grab water and snacks which was handy. We didn't mind walking into town as it wasn't too far and it gave us the chance to work off all the tacos!

Cons:

The light in the master bedroom did not work even though they said they had fixed it. Our room had no balcony which was unfortunate given the price we had paid. However, we enjoyed hanging by the pool or in the hammocks, so it was not that big of a deal.

Pros:

el personal era encantador!!! Emilio y Flor eran súper simpaticos y atentos, Flor era una linda persona!! el hotel estaba muy bonito y el desayuno genial!!! además había mapaches (aunque esto solo gusta a los turistas, jeje)

Cons:

Las habitaciones son un poco frías y oscuras y los mosquitos terribles… se podría hacer algo para que las camas estuviesen protegidas con mosquiteras o algo… Y la playa del hotel no es buena, hay que caminar un poco para ir a una que está bien para el baño (en la que está “café del mar” por ejemplo)
