Value Inn Kenosha I-94 - Exit 344

Everything, not clean, mold on walls, blood stains on sheets, wall paper peeling with a lot of weird stains, dresser taped together with duct tape, broken floors, no lamp shade.

This looked nothing like the photos, no where in the description of the hotel does it say it's a drive up motel with all rooms on the first floor and you park directly in front of the unit. It looked like the room had been cleaned but the sheets were threadbare, had holes in them and the room was dark and musty. We looked in and immediately left.

It’s filthy and the owners are RUDE and the area is sketchy

Upon arriving at 11:20pm a sign in the lobby stated the lobby is closed from 11-7 even though my reservation paperwork stated that check in was until 11:30. After finding an employee in the parking lot we were able to get into our room. The bed sheets were stained the shower was dirty. The water pressure wasn’t that great along with the hot water. My bother also found a bug crawling in his bed when trying to fall asleep. They refused to allow me to check out early.

It was horrible. Would never stay again. I felt my safety was a stake constantly. The bed sheets were stained with period blood or cum. It was filthy everywhere. Smoke detector was broken. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. There was mold. I was terrified of potential bed bugs or other bugs in the room. The floors were disgusting. Absolutely would never pay again.

The Fact that not one staff member was there!!!! Could not check in and as a result had to spend Extra funds for a different hotel to stay at!!!!! I was not the only patron that this happened to. Another guy arrived minutes after i did and had to go else where too.

This property is false advertising what the rooms and property look like. We didn’t want to stay here because it looks nothing like what the picture shows. It’s a shame that they are allowed to take peoples money and lie about what the property looks like and offers. They know what they’re doing. The property is drastically different. This is why they don’t offer a refund because they know this property is a mess

When we arrived, the heat didn’t work. We turned it on to warm up while we went to dinner. When we returned, it was blowing cold air and the room was very cold. Yes, we did get have it set properly. There is a section of the flooring that is cracked and sticking up. It is the main area where a person must walk to get anywhere in the room. I caught my foot on it several times and someone is going to fall. There is a lamp on the desk that is very rusty and the on/off switch is broken off. You must plug it in and out to operate. The bathroom sink has no plug in the drain. On the inside of the bathroom door, the wood was peeling. Someone had written on it and there was an attempt to wash it off but was just smeared but still there.

Now let’s get serious. The bathroom floor in the shower area is disgustingly filthy around the edges by the wall. The base of the toilet was filthy. I used the hair dryer. When I turned it off, one finger touched the back of the dryer. I didn’t realize the covering was broken off and my finger touched the blades of the fan that runs the dryer and took a chunk out of the end of my finger.

The next day, we informed the office about the heat. A gentleman came immediately with 2 space heaters. He turned on the heat and it started blowing warm air. 🤷🏻‍♀️.

We would not return to any Value Inn and never recommend it. The filth and disrepair are inexcusable.

The room could definitely use a touch up and the guy in the room next to me has been banging his music on and off all day and the staff still hasn’t answered back to me about it
