Location, room set up, and cleanliness
Disgustingly FILTHY room - pictures say a 1000 words.
Take a peek. Our family got stuck having to stay 3 nights in this room due to an event happening nearby. Every other hotel was completely sold out, so we were unable to leave. This hotel offered us another room, which wasn't much better. So we had to stay.
The second a room became available at The Element, which by the way is AMAZING, we checked out. Hilton was kind enough to return our points, but the hotel itself wouldn't refund any other monies we paid to stay in this mold, greasy, disgustingly filthy room. Upon reading the reviews here, I'd say we aren't alone.
My advice - don't let the pictures the hotel posts fool you. Look at the ones actual guests have taken, that will show you the truth.
It was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful
After reading some of the reviews, we were a little concerned about this property. But I'm happy to report we had an awesome stay this last Friday. We were in town for our Son's lacrosse tournament at Lakepoint Sports. This hotel is only about 10 minutes from the sports complex and an easy drive to get there.
The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good and the staff was friendly/helpful.
We did not see any bugs (as some previous reviews mentioned), but I know that's probably seasonal.
We would definitely stay here again :-)

Clean. Good late night check in experience
Matthew, at the Home2Suites by Hilton in Cartersville GA, is absolutely amazing. His customer service skills are top notch, my family is celebrating ours son's 1st birthday here, and everytime Matthew sees us he ensures we receive the best service possible. He interacts with my family and my dog at each passing, asks how the breakfast is and where there enough bags at the dog station to makes us feel right at home. Matthew- thank you for everything, we came from Orlando FL, and glad we chose this hotel. This vacation is truly perfect, and the views from our window are breathtaking
Matthew was absolutely outstanding during our stay! Any time I needed to head to the front desk, he ensured my questions were answered, requests were taken care of, and even provided me with suggestions on things to do in the area. He is a great representative of the company for anyone staying here at the Home2Suites by Hilton in Cartersville, GA!

Absolutely nothing .
The bed sheet was VERY worn out, there was black stuff all over the window curtain and lamp shades, the bathroom shower was nasty and had a small bug inside, the toilet was nasty and the towels felt very hard.
The kitchen part always was making a lot of noise. We had a King Suite.
As well as the people we had upstairs above us was ALWAYS stomping and being incredibly loud. Our key card was not wanting to work sometimes either!
The first day we got there the hotel check in was at 3pm. We got there at 3:10 and they told us our room was not ready. So we came back 15 minutes later it was ready. When we went up to our room 225 there was a maintenance man in there doing something.. even though we were told our room was ready. We waited another 10 minutes for the guy to finish. The first day we were there the guy at the front desk was very rude and not welcoming at all! The second day I went down for breakfast and the breakfast was terrible. Bacon was very greasy and just overall shame. The lady at the front desk that day was very friendly and nice but other than that the whole stay was very sad for us.
The location was ideal and the hotel was very welcoming and clean.. I enjoyed the warmth of the staff.. My room was very clean and very comfortable during my stay… I would stay again. The property was quiet and the people were friendly as well.. i enjoyed the gym and the kids loved the indoor pool..
