Cons:

The hotel is in the back of a sketchy part of the city. The room was unclean, with stained carpets, an uncomfortable bed and the doors were off cuts of chipboard screwed on. The bathroom looked like that of a hospital. It was very unpleasant.

Shouldn’t have Rydges brand as badly run
Pros:

The location was good for us

Cons:

The property was dirty and the staff were apathetic and unhelpful. There were no facilities and the restaurant was in the lobby of the hotel and very substandard. The rooms were very tired with mould and rust all over the bathroom. House keeping didn’t come until 3.45pm snd we asked for them to come back after 4pm and they couldn’t as they were finishing up. Not professionally run

Nice but not for me
Pros:

The rooms are fantastically interior designed. I wish more hotels had this style. Everything was clean and comfortable. Bathroom lovely. Hotel is small but still nice. Breakfast good quality for hot food. Hot chocolate in room nice if you don’t drink coffee or tea.

Cons:

The rooms state soundproofed. But I heard cars revving up and down the streets all night. And at the back of the hotel also. Needed ear plugs to get to sleep.

If car noise doesn’t bother you you’ll be fine with this hotel.

Also the sweet croissant at breakfast seemed undercooked and doughy. No peppermint tea in my room but at breakfast was there.

Very comfortable stay in Perth CBD
Pros:

Very spacious room with all amenities, full mini bar, clean fluffy towels, coffee machine, complimentary coffee pods and an extremely comfortable bed. The staff were helpful and breakfast was tasty.

Cons:

Would've liked a little more variety at the breakfast buffet i.e. boiled, poached or fried eggs. Our shampoo and conditioner were empty but we had our own, I'm sure staff would have replenished these if we'd asked.
