Simple hotel with amazing views far from center
Pros:

Location very far from center. Staff were amazing though.

Kjekt kokkekurs
Pros:

Koselig b&b, som tittelen tilsier ganske godt gjemt. Et stykke fra Ella, men transport fra hotellet gjorde til at det ikke ble et problem. Utrolig kjekt kokkekurs der vi lagde 5 typer curry, som vi senere fikk servert som middag. Helt topp! Fikk og sightseeing til Nine Arch Bridge og Little Adams Peek.

Great hotel a bit hard to find
Pros:

This was a great 3 start hotel but was hard to find as there were no road signs and only two signs for the hotel. The road can get a little rough at times but it looks like they will eventually pave it. Once at the hotel the staff is very attentive, and the view in daylight is breathtaking. I only got a short night there which I wish I would have taken advantage of the cooking class. No mosquitoes really because of the higher elevation.

Pros:

Very nice and beautiful place. Very far from the center, but a great surprise. The view was unreal and so was the room. In the middle of the jungle, a big, nice and comfortable room in a very nice house. I would stay there again

Amazing views but not worth value...
Pros:

The views and the food (good service people) were the most amazing of my trip, but that is what allowed me to give it the score I gave it... This was my highest priced accommodation I had in Sri Lanka, but value was not worth it. Stated had air conditioning, but rooms were not and did not see it around any public area. No wifi in the main reception/eating area, so had to wait till go back to room, but when I did, Wifi went off at night before going to bed. I have to give credit to the chef... best food I had in sri lanka... and the view from balcony (during the day, not at night) was breathtaking including eating breakfast... So was nice, but not worth the price as other places with decent views were cheaper.
