Nice cheap and cheerful place to stay
No aircon as advertised
Hotel Buttercup is my place to stay in Pokhara, excellent value for money in a family run small hotel. When you are on a budget I think this place is an excellent choice. Decent sized room, clean with airco, fan and good hot shower. Access to the balcony just outside the room. Quiet at night ( when the street dogs are behaving). And excellent location in walking distance to restaurants, lakeside and Pokhara's commercial center.

The owner is very friendly and helped us in planning the trip.
The rooms are good and comfortable with private balcony and also a common balcony.
The views of annapurna range and macchupicchu peaks are clearly visible from the top floors of the room.
The location, staff and room were great
The shower pressure wasn’t great, it took some time to get warm and there was underwear from previous guests left in the bathroom. However, we would happily stay again.
Centrally located, yet very quiet. Buttercup hotel is a family run hotel. It is very laid back, friendly and clean. Hot shower, good wifi and my room had a big balcony. I enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely come back!
All i can tell you that it’s a very very basic hotel but the owner Laxman’s service will make your stay great. Exceptionally humble person.

Location was perfect.
Very clean hotel in a nice area of Pokhara not too far from the lakeside. Hotel has a booking office inside to help arrange any tours and treks and were very helpful. The room we were in hadn't a lovely balcony to enjoy the sun. Ensuite bathroom was very clean.
