Nice new-ish hotel with good breakfast. Convenient to airport.
Pros:

They comped us breakfast, which was very good. A nice buffet and they also make food to order. Had a late light dinner there, which was also good. Parking is close but not in the building, which is fine given it is not cold there.

What I liked about this hotel is that is was close to my daughter’s university. Didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast, but it was a great, clean , and affordable place.

The art of hospitality is still alive and well at AC Hotel
Pros:

Family and I visited for my daughters graduation at ASU.

The property and rooms are great. But the staff is exceptional. Everyone was welcoming and helpful.

Especially Ronnie at the front desk when we checked in and helping us enjoy the rest of our stay. Not easy - 3 generations with different needs and tastes!

Next morning food was really good, but again it was the hospitality of Chandler that really made a great travel experience.

Delightful stay
Pros:

Three day stay at this gem of a hotel. We had 2 days of meetings so I can attest to how responsive, helpful and accommodating the staff is in making sure that you have everything you need. Breakfast and snacks were all great and the rooms were clean and well-equipped.
The room was super, a fantastic mattress so a great nights sleep. Blackout curtains that actually worked! The shower head could be easily turned into rainfall mode and it was amazing.
The breakfast at the dining room was extraordinarily delicious, incredibly fresh, and so varied! I have to add a special note about the professional servers at the restaurant, Ranee and Chandler. What a team! They made our daily breakfast such a delight, bringing steaming made to order Nespresso lattes, making sure that we had everything we needed, and basically making us feel so taken care of and welcomed. I actually looked forward to seeing them every morning. Well done Marriott in staffing your hotel with such great ambassadors.
PS I’ve asked my organization to book our next annual meeting at this great boutique-like hotel!

Affordable and friendly Marriott chain hotel.
Pros:

Walk to Mill Ave, the Tempe Lake path, the A, and most of the ASU and downtown Tempe locations. Decent rooms, a breakfast buffet, and paid access to parking make it an affordable place to stay.

The rooms facing Rio Salado are louder than the inside rooms facing the lake so be mindful of your options if you are a light sleeper. The bathroom door is frosted sliding glass that lets light through. No closets and limited storage for clothing.

The rooms have limited sound proofing.

Other than the breakfast buffet the dining options in the hotel are limited. There is a bar.

Staff is super friendly and helpful.
