AC Hotel by Marriott Phoenix Tempe/Downtown

Carlos and the entire staff are outstanding. I travel to Phoenix frequently and will be staying here every time!

Wonderful experience. Chandler's customer service at breakfast was top of the line.

Stayed at the AC Hotel Tempe for the annual Pat's Run. The mobile check in app is not very helpful. Was expecting a text when room was ready but it never came. Upon arrival, Carlos was excellent at the front desk. He was friendly and provided a warm welcome. He was able to accomodate my request for a room on an upper floor and honored my request for a late checkout of 1 PM. That was convenient so we did not need to rush after the run. Parking is in a garage across from the hotel but it was not crowded and not too far of a walk. The room was clean and comfortable. Check out was smooth and overall it was an excellent stay that removed a lot of the stress of attending Pat's Run.

Exceptional hotel! The first thing that caught my eye was the amazing bathroom. Great atmosphere and the service personnel were excellent.

Chandler was the absolute BEST waitstaff ! Knew our names, what we liked to order….and the food is amazing.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel’s restaurant for breakfast, and I want to specifically recognize Chandler for his outstanding service.

The breakfast itself was delicious, featuring a small buffet with simple items such as oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast bread, croissants, quality cheeses, and charcuterie, along with made-to-order items that were fresh and satisfying each morning such as cooked eggs and avocado toast. Also, I especially loved the vanilla latte which is the perfect way to start the day.

From the very first day, Chandler made the effort to remember my name, which immediately made me feel welcomed and valued. Even more impressive is that he makes the effort to remember guest's favorite go to breakfast orders.

Chandler consistently went above and beyond with his attentiveness, professionalism, and warm personality. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely dedicated to great customer service.

He is truly a special member of the staff and a big part of why my stay was a fantastic experience. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves!

I travel a lot, so when someone stands out it means something. Ronnie at the front desk is outstanding! Professional, positive, and attentive. He makes the simple act of check in feel very personal, always coming out from behind the desk to hand each guest their key in person and provide final individual instructions. A real bright spot at the end of the day when returning to the hotel.

Then there is Grant at the bar. The man knew my name the next evening and greeted me personally by name. It is such a special thing to be greeted by your name when away from home. It make you feel like a VIP.

Close to the places I wanted to go visit

Located right next to Arizona State University and the downtown area of Tempe, the hotel is close to restaurants and a short drive to golf courses. Our room was very clean and well turned out. I appreciate the wood flooring verses having carpet. It makes everything seem cleaner. Despite being across the hall from the ice machine, our room was quiet. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. Loved Ronnie at the front desk who was very helpful and fun to chat with. We will be returning!

Extremely friendly staff, spacious with modern decor and a beautiful lobby. I would definitely make this my go to hotel it’s conveniently located between Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix. Many great shops and restaurants within walking distance.

We had a great experience at this hotel! It was a business trip that we decided to turn into a family trip and the hotel was perfect for both situations! The kids were obsessed with the pool and in there every single day. The hotel did definitely have more of a business vibe and I think mine were the only kids that I saw there the entire time. But everyone was gracious and very sweet to us all. Everything was clean and the staff were so kind making sure to greet us every time we came in. You can't beat the view of the mountain from the pool. Overall a great experience!

This hotel was clean and comfortable. It sits between buildings and tucked away. The front desk greeted us with enthusiasm and were friendly. My favorite employee was Chandler. Every morning he greeted me and my coworker by name, memorized our breakfast orders, and was incredibly attentive. I was in awe of his service!

My Trip to AC Hotel in Tempe, Arizona was marvelous. I really enjoyed the greeting when I from the front desk Employee "Issyss" who had taken great care of me at check-in.
Please make sure that Issyss is recognized for being a " Marriott Champion" and I will definitely be back in the near future
