Pros:

We stayed at Ayos before climbing up Sri Pada (Adam's Peak). Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has got also a nice small restaurant, with Sri Lankan food and offers free rides to the bottom of Sri Pada trek. Recommended

Helpful staff. Ideal location for Adams Peak.
Pros:

Ideal location for an early start to climb Adams Peak. Staff were really helpful when the tuk-tuk ordered for 2am didin't arrive, they made arrangements for transport to the start of the walk.

Hyvät palvelut
Pros:

Rauhallisella paikalla, hieman keskusta-alueen ulkopuolella sijaitseva hotelli. Hotellista ilmainen kuljetus ja nouto adam's peakille.

Hotellista saa hyvää ruokaa kohtuulliseen hintaan, joten soveltuu etenkin niille, jotka aikovat lähinnä käydä valloittamassa adam's peakin.

Good place to stay for Adams Peak experience
Pros:

Good place to stay if you are looking to walk Adam's Peak. Ayos Hill is a few km outside of Dalhousie (the starting point) - but this was an advantage as Dalhousie is not great. The guest house gives you a lift to the start and collects you in the morning. Firstly, the 2 upper rooms, were much much nicer than those on the bottom floor (which were very dark and unappealing). The room was basic but comfortable. Modern bathroom with hot water. Comfortable bed, Food good value for money and tasty. Nice view from dining room and top terrace overlooking the lake. Slight negatives - can be noisy. Staff were willing but struggled with English. Food service was very slow and often muddled. It was weird that we were given clean blankets for the bed but no top sheet. Overall it was a positive experience - and the Adam's Peak walk was amazing. Just remember is it a guest house - and do not expect hotel level service.

Nice accommodations for climbing Adam's Peak
Pros:

There is not much going on in the surrounding area, but we just used it for climbing Adam's Peak anyway. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly. We were provided free transport to Adam's Peak for the night climb and picked up at the end of the climb. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. I would certainly recommend this place for anyone interested in climbing Adam's Peak
