Stay here if you like remoteness
Pros:

Staff amazing. Food delicious. Loved breakfadt - yoghurt, fruit and hobey .. Nice size room. Helped me get surf guide (javo).who was lovely.
Helped with transport- also lovely guy.

I had to leave early and the help I got was second to none -- outstanding

Cons:

Distance from workable surf breaks .. my transport to peanut Farm maybe 30 - 40 mins in tuk tuk - 5000lkr. So if I had no transport and surfing was my motivation Id stay in Abay. I heard whilst there whiskey point no longer breaks.

If after a place surrounded by restaurants/ infrastructure then again go Abay.

There remains confusion on the accommodation - Restaurant side is near pool and restaurant. Garden side is outside main accommodation across the road.

Perfect
Pros:

Nous quittons cet hôtel avec le cœur lourd. Dès notre arrivée, nous n’avons pas été considérées comme de simples clientes, mais comme des membres de leur famille. Ils nous ont accueillies avec une gentillesse et une bienveillance incroyables, en nous traitant comme des princesses.

La cuisine sri-lankaise était absolument délicieuse. Ils ont même préparé des plats spécialement pour nous, toujours avec beaucoup d’attention et de générosité. Tout au long de notre voyage, ils ont été présents pour nous conseiller, nous aider et s’assurer que nous passions le meilleur séjour possible.

L’hôtel est un véritable petit coin de paradis, au bord de la plage. Tout est impeccable, très propre et parfaitement entretenu. Mais ce qui rend cet endroit vraiment unique, ce sont les personnes qui y travaillent. Leur sourire, leur bonté et leur immense cœur ont rendu ce séjour inoubliable.

Nous avons vécu bien plus que des vacances : nous avons fait une magnifique rencontre humaine. Merci pour tout l’amour, les attentions et les souvenirs que vous nous avez offerts. Vous allez énormément nous manquer, et partir aujourd’hui nous brise le cœur. Nous espérons revenir un jour, car une partie de notre cœur restera toujours ici. ❤️

המלון לא מתוחזק חדרים ישנים ולא מתפקדים מזגן לא מקרר מקלחת גרועה
הבריכה הייתה מלוכלכת ולא ראויה לשחייה מים ירוקים ומזוהמים בלעדי הבריכה המלון לא שווה כלום וכשהיא לא תפקדה זה הרב לנו את החופשה

Super tof domein met toffe hutjes vlak aan een verlaten strand
Pros:

Het personeel was zeer lief en het eten was geweldig. Als je iets vroeg, deden ze het. We vroegen een bepaalde drank en ze gingen die speciaal inkopen. Onze checkout was heel vroeg, toch maakten ze vers ontbijt om 06h30. Prachtige kust. We hadden echt een leuk verblijf!

Cons:

Het domein is heel minimalistisch, de huisjes erg basic en gebied rond zwembad mag iets opgefrist worden. Ligging is 20 tal min van Arugambay, wat per tuk tuk ongeveer 4500 LKR kost (enkel). Op zich geen probleem als je van rust houdt, want is prachtige kust.

We celebrated our son’s birthday at the resort, and it was truly an amazing experience. The staff made our stay special

Ideal place for relaxing
Pros:

Very quiet and calm place, away from the main road & adjacent to the beach. Ideal for relaxing. It has a nice little pool. The foods are tastier and there are plenty of varieties. The food was served at the exact time which was scheduled.

Beautiful place, wonderful staff, and yummy food !
Pros:

I liked everything about this place!!

Kimi and Chris made our stay so comfortable and lovely, they helped me manage my frnds birthday and the food was veryyy tasty!!! (You should try Chris’ special sandwich it’s off menu 😋)

Amazing place very zen and peaceful and we were so happy to work remotely from there and to just relax at the same time☺️

Highly recommend 🙏🏼

Come for the beach, stay for the chicken curry
Pros:

A short drive from the main Arugam Bay strip but feels like a completely different world. One night wasn't enough... The beachfront location, the sound of the waves and the STARS ✨ at night were something else, we sat outside just staring at the sky. The food genuinely surprised us, the chicken curry with rice was one of the best we had on the trip and the carrot sambol was a first for us, tangy and absolutely delicious.

A quiet, beachfront escape in Arugam Bay that exceeded every expectation.
Pros:

Checked in late but Kimithan and the team were incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. The pool, fresh breeze and peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed after a 6 hour drive from Colombo, and the morning sunrise with a top notch breakfast made it even better. Exceeded our expectations and we are already planning to come back for a longer stay.
